Create an MDM flow diagram of your solution 4. Present your mobile solution as a proposal to the professor and class How to complete the assignment: Work together for the complete assignment during online and offline classes Work as a team to answer the questions and device your strategy Collaborate and create your design document Company Description: SaveYou Inc is a newly forming company that focuses on providing cyber insurance, consultation services, and solutions for companies and individuals that experience the negative impacts of cyber attacks. They have experienced a massive surge in business since the start of the pandemic as many companies move to a mobile workforce. For individuals they provide insurance to help offset the costs of identify theft and ransomware attacks as well as provide consultations on the best cyber security software to deploy to protect themselves and their families. For corporations they offer a wide variety of cyber security solutions along with several insurance options to help mitigate the cost of ransomware and other attacks that lead to loss of data and revenue. The company started small with just one office in Toronto, Canada but due to the prevalence of cyber threats since the start of the pandemic they have expanded globally. They have opened small branches (home offices) in Frankfurt, Germany and Singapore, Singapore. They are also planning on expanding further into South American markets and plan to open a support center in Bangalore, India. It is becoming increasingly hard to conduct business across multiple time-zones and SaveYou has recently started allowing their users to use their own mobile devices to submit sales leads and orders. They are a security company and recognize the inherent risks of using mobile devices to conduct business and are looking for a solution that allows them to conduct business in any location in the world but also ensure the security of their company data and network. They need to ensure their mobile users have access to corporate email and internal web servers to enter sales and order information while on the go.
Since they are a security consultant it would be a disaster to their brand if they were ever hacked. As such their mobile solution must be as secure as possible while still allowing them to collaborate both internally (within their company) and externally (with their customers). Part 1 – Plan and Document the solution Using what we discussed in class as well as the internet, plan and document a mobile solution that meets the business requirements for this company. Phase 1: Business Requirements Collect and document the business requirements that SaveYou has for their mobile solution. Ensure you include the following information for each requirement: 1. A brief description each business requirement. A cloud-based solution is needed that meets information security standards, allowing access to corporate email and enabling users to access the company's internal applications. 2. An explanation of what solution you choose to satisfy that requirement. The implementation of Google Workspace in the cloud enables users to access corporate email, storage, and collaborative tools. Additionally, incorporating VPN software, such as Palo Alto Networks, ensures security for mobile users and remote offices. This VPN facilitates proper authentication and access to the company's web servers. 3. An explanation of how it satisfies the requirement. The integration between Google Workspace and a VPN solution like Palo Alto Networks provides a secure and collaborative working environment for employees, allowing them to access and utilize corporate resources securely and efficiently, regardless of their physical location. This combination results in a modern, flexible, and highly secure work environment for business operations in the digital era. Phase 2: Mobile Solution Design Plan a mobile solution that addresses the business requirements you have identified for SaveYou Inc. Identify which mobile solution architecture you will choose and explain your answer. In your written design section ensure you cover how you will address these additional requirements: 1. How will you ensure security? How will you secure data in motion? How will you ensure security for data at rest? What mobile devices will you allow? What policies (restrictions) will you apply to those devices?

What will you do in case of a major disaster (Disaster Recovery)? How will you account for major disasters such as natural disasters (flood, fire, storm), war, failing of electrical grid? Phase 3: – Design the solution 1. Create a design diagram that represents your solution 2. Ensure that your diagram visually represents the solution created in part 1 3. Highlight any risk points (or single point of failures) in the diagram Phase 4: – Prepare to present your solution With your group prepare a powerpoint presentation for your mobile solution. Ensure it covers all the key points mentioned above and includes your visual solution diagram. The presentation should be no longer than 10 minutes in length.
