MS 2007 and the 2007 Exchange servers are outdated and will also need to be upgraded. MS SQL needs to be able to be accessed by all computers and not just stand alone on its own. The internet is going to need to be upgraded to be able to withstand all the computers on the internet. It is the newest windows operating system that most computers use. It is also easy to use and understand. This will make all the computers on the same system and make it where information is easy to share between computers. The standalone computer also needs to be connected to all

I would also recommend upgrading to wireless internet at allocations which will help with laptop use in addition to access for drivers. Employees will be able to use their phones and tablets to share information that they collect while at work if there is wireless internet. Having faster internet speed also means higher efficiencies and 24/7 to share and receive data. The exchange server will also need to be updated to exchange server 2019. The 2007 exchange server that North America Transports is outdated and does not operate as well as the new 2019 one does. Exchange Server 2019 supports 48 CPO cores with 256 GB of memory. It is a huge improvement over previous maximum server configuration support. In addition, all MS Office programs should be upgraded to Microsoft 2019 as it’s the most compatible with the new server. North America Transports should put all of their information online in their cloud servers to make information easier to access between locations that are opened. One printer will not be enough for each location. North America Transports is going to have to invest in some more printers. The new printers should be Bluetooth printers so that they can be accessed easily from any device. Regarding the 12 port 10mb/s switch, I would recommend using a 48-port device to support the current growth plan then add and connect as necessary. Appendix 1
