INT 220 Business Brief Template Course Project Section One: Drivers for Global Entry Country Selection China Purpose of Global Expansion Key benefits for global expansion with China would be their resources and technological advancement as well as cheaper labor and lower EPA guidelines. The purpose would be to maximize profits and sell new products to consumers. By U.S. domestic organizations doing business in China, it would lower their resource expenses and their labor expenses. This would maximize profit for U.S. businesses. Business Impacts of Global Business Impact of global are how fast businesses grow, consumer exposure, and profit increase or decrease. Bringing new product into China would involve human resources, legalities, and logistics. This is because China has different national laws than we do. A domestic company would have to logistically plan sale and manufacturing in China to ensure that the expansion would be in the best interests of the company. Societal Impacts of Global Business Global expansion has taken away manufacturing jobs from people in America by moving factories overseas. Which has also increased the unemployment rate in the United States. It has also provided more jobs to the people of the country factories are being moved to. It also affects the climate because most countries do not have strong EPA laws like the U.S. Cultural Considerations for Global Business The importance of researching is to find out who you would be dealing with. What greetings are appropriate and what not to do in social interactions. As well as what not to do to a person from the other culture. Offending a culture would ruin a business deal. In China making body contact like hugging locking arms, back slaps, and any body contact is considered disrespectful. Whistling and snapping your fingers is also considered very rude. Putting your feet on a desk or chair, gesturing with your feet, or passing objects with your feet are disrespectful as well References (N.d.).
