In the ever-evolving landscape where luxury meets technology, Christian Dior embarks on a groundbreaking journey with the introduction of Dior Sensor—an immersive fragrance that seamlessly integrates the artistry of perfumery with cutting-edge technology. As we unveil this innovative product, it is imperative to acknowledge and dissect the challenges that may accompany this venture.
Challenges that the new product Dior Sensore from Christian Dior likely to face in the new market with the new product is the older demographic and how they will respond to using technology. Consumer acceptance of technology-infused products can vary. Some may embraces
the idea, while others may prefer traditional fragrances. Gaining widespread acceptance and positive reviews is crucial for the success of Dior Sensore. Another challenge that can be challenging is battery life and maintenance: Incorporating technology into fragrance devices requires power. Ensuring a reasonable battery life and user-
friendly maintenance (such as recharging or replacing fragrance cartridges) without compromising the aesthetic appeal can be challenging.
The reason for my choice of Christian Dior’s fragrance is because of the untapped love that men and women have for fragrances. Is advertised with its scent as: A love story in a bottle. The bottle was equally unmatched in its design; an unusual, striking and feminine teardrop shape
conceived by jewelry and furniture artist-designer Hervé Van der Staeten (George, 2023). The bottle itself symbolizes luxury, love and adoration. The fragrance appeals to consumers who build their image around high values and hopeless romance, and who dream of endless love.

Christian Dior will launch an innovative smart fragrance that not only captivates with its scent but also engages the senses through advanced technology. Dior will incorporate adaptive fragrance technology that responds to the wearer's emotions. Using sensors and AI, the perfume adjusts its intensity and notes based on their moods and the wearer's biometric data. The scent changes and is sprayed through simple jewelry located in the ear, chest and wrist areas. This smart fragrance jewelry will be stylish and discreet. This wearable device will synchronize with the perfume and serves as a controller for adjusting fragrance settings. It can also monitor the wearer's vitals, providing insights into how the fragrance affects their well-being.
An explanation of the market sector that I will be targeting is technology, In the length a few periods, technology has position itself intricately into the fabric of our everyday lives, transforming the way we communicate, work, learn, and experience the world around us. From the delivery of the internet to the growth of artificial intelligence, the march of technological advancement has reshaped industries, societies, and the human experience (Hafiz, 2023)
The reason I have selected this market is for the following reasons, Innovation Appeal the
technology sector is synonymous with innovation and cutting-edge advancements. Launching a smart fragrance aligns the product with the modern, forward-thinking image of the tech industry, making it more appealing to consumers who value innovation. The technology sector attracts a consumer base that is inherently tech-savvy and open to adopting new technological products.

These consumers are more likely to appreciate and embrace the integration of technology
into traditionally non-tech products like fragrances. Lastly, the Cross-Industry Collaboration Opportunities with tech designers and influencers can provide opportunities to tap into the vast networks and creativity present in the technology sector. Such collaborations can elevate the product's visibility and enhance its market positioning.
In the realm where fragrance and technology converge, Dior Sensore invites us to breathe
deeply, embrace the unknown, and witness the unfolding of a new chapter—one where the scents
of tradition dance with the rhythms of innovation, and where the fragrance experience transcends
the boundaries of imagination. The challenges are formidable, but so is the promise that Dior Sensore holds for the future of sensory indulgence dapts to future trends in both the fragrance and technology industries.
