Justify your response with examples from the video. Please write a minimum of 100 words. I think Columbian Exchange had caused not only bad effects but also good effects on human history. It brought a widespread increase in population, along with plentiful sources of food. Although, it did affect the Earth with crops being planted in the wrong area, which in turn hurt the environment. Ideas and technology were also transferred. The disease was a huge negative that spread through many demographics. Africans were held as slaves during all of this, but from a macro perspective, I believe it was beneficial with new crops, more people, and animals allowing for growth and prosperity. The Columbian Exchange introduced new food, population increase, and livestock, which in the long term, increased rather than diminished the world human population. : 10 / 15
