The primary objective of this study is to examine the fiscal benefits and drawbacks associated with Canadian outsourcing of information technology (IT)-related investments in India (GraffersID, 2023). Benefits of investing in India for outsourcing: 1. Prodigious workforce: India is renowned for its vast reservoir of exceptionally skilled professionals and technicians in the field of information technology. Due to the abundance of available talent, organisations are able to identify the precise capabilities necessary to fulfil their particular outsourcing needs. Furthermore, technical education is highly prioritised by educational institutions in India, ensuring a steady provision of trained personnel with the necessary expertise (GraffersID, 2023). 2. Cost competitiveness: In comparison to Canada and other developed countries, India offers significant cost reductions. The more affordable labour costs in India enable organisations to curtail costs associated with personnel without compromising work quality. To illustrate, software engineers in India earn an hourly wage of
approximately ten dollars, whereas their equivalent in Canada earns thirty dollars (Sharma, 2021). 1. Third, proficiency in the English language: Language barriers may present an obstacle in the context of delegating tasks for outsourcing. Conversely, India's considerable proficiency in the English language facilitates seamless communication and collaboration with Canadian enterprises. Due to this unified language, project coordination is considerably simplified, and the probability of miscommunication is substantially diminished. 3. A substantial domestic market: The rapid expansion of India's domestic market provides companies with opportunities to expand their operations and reach a wider range of customers. Engaging in investments in India provides enterprises with the chance to penetrate this market and potentially increase their revenue generation. Moreover, through understanding the inclinations and demands of the Indian market, enterprises can enhance the adaptability of their products or services to better satisfy the specifications of international markets (Bogdan SanduBogdan, 2023). 4. Business-friendly environment: To encourage foreign investment, India has implemented several policy modifications. The aforementioned revisions comprise the consolidation of laws, the development of infrastructure, and the simplification of tax procedures. The government may provide assistance to businesses interested in outsourcing to India through initiatives like "Make in India" and "Digital India," which are designed to attract foreign direct investment. Drawbacks of investing in India for outsourcing: 1. Challenges posed by the infrastructure Despite the considerable advancements that India has achieved in infrastructure development, businesses may still face certain challenges. There are several factors that can potentially undermine the efficiency and
productivity of outsourcing operations. These include power disruptions, inadequate transportation infrastructure, and internet connectivity issues that are prevalent in certain geographical areas. 2. Cultural variations It may be challenging to adapt to India's customs, professional procedures, and formal etiquette due to its distinct culture. The Canadian-Indian business partnership may need more time and resources due to cultural differences (Bogdan SanduBogdan, 2023). 3. Political and regulatory environment: India's complex politics may hamper project execution and decision-making. Organisations must follow outsourcing requirements to prevent disruptions and legal risks. 4. IPR security and enforcement: India struggles with IPR security and enforcement. Canadian firms outsourcing to India must secure their IP to prevent risks and preserve sensitive data. 5. Time zone discrepancies: India's adoption of Indian Standard Time (IST) may cause considerable time variations. Coordination, communication, and project delivery may be problematic, especially for companies that demand quick collaboration (Bogdan SanduBogdan, 2023). Due to its numerous benefits, India as an outsourcing location provides numerous advantages to Canadian companies, particularly those in the information technology sector. Access to a thriving domestic market, the availability of skilled personnel, competitive pricing, English proficiency, and a favourable business climate all contribute to India's attractiveness as a potential location. To ensure the smooth functioning of outsourcing operations, it is imperative to thoroughly evaluate and resolve several challenges. These obstacles may include constraints related to infrastructure, cultural disparities, legislative intricacies, intellectual property rights, and time zone variations.

Nike connects with their worldwide audience on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube. They reply to client feedback, share user-generated material, and provide useful information. Nike publishes often on numerous platforms.
Nike's social media approach works because they know their audience and adapt their material. They’re visually stunning and motivational postings appeal to younger audiences. Their material includes product reviews, sponsored athlete tales, fitness tips, and motivating remarks. This method promotes Nike's goods and encourages active living by serving consumers' interests (Dereń et al., 2023). Nike also promotes user-generated content by encouraging users to hashtag their Nike merchandise photos and videos. Their social media pages generally incorporate this information, creating authenticity and community. This method lets clients feel appreciated and part of the Nike community (Peters, 2022). Nike's social media networks provide plenty of useful information. They often offer fitness regimens, dietary advice, and product launch information. This makes Nike a leader in sports and fitness and gives fans value, keeping them interested and coming back (Unmetric, 2019). Company misusing social media: Sears Sears is a retailer that misuses social media. Their social media presence is inadequate in various areas, preventing them from connecting with consumers and promoting their goods. The first issue is Sears' uneven social media presence. Sometimes they spend weeks without posting on Facebook or Twitter. Without constant action, clients struggle to remain engaged and interested in the company (Social Work, 2019). Sears also struggles to develop a community on social media. They seldom reply to social media comments or queries, giving the appearance that they are not listening or engaged with consumers. The brand and consumers are disconnected by this lack of contact. Most of Sears' social media posts are product marketing and promotional announcements. While product promotion is crucial, Sears fails to deliver intriguing material beyond advertising. They might boost their social media approach by posting home renovation, style, and maintenance

recommendations for their items. This would make Sears a trusted resource and deepen their relationship. User-generated content may help Sears boost their social media presence. They may encourage consumers to post Sears product reviews or upload before-and-after home remodelling photos. This would foster community and brand engagement (Social media program, 2017). In conclusion, Nike uses social media to engage consumers, establish its brand, and market its goods. The brand knows its audience, tailors its content, and interacts with followers. However, Sears' social media approach lacks consistency, engagement, and value. Sears may boost its social media performance by being more active, communicating with consumers, and delivering useful material.
