Brianna Duplan Explain why the inner and outer planets are not suitable environments for humans and other forms of life. Planets like Venus and Mercury (inner) are too hot which most likely means no water, then with the rest of the planets (outer) it may be too far meaning colder. Discuss the most generally accepted theory for the formation of the Universe. What is the big bang theory? The big bang theory is the most excepted theory for the formation of the Universe. This theory is that all the energy in the universe concentrated at a tiny point and then exploded. Explain why the moon was the "first" celestial body selected for investigation by the United States government. The U.S government selected the moon as its “first” celestial body to investigate because the moon was the closest celestial body and they wanted to see if life was possible. List the inner and outer planets of the solar system. Inner planets are Mercury, Venus, Earth, and Mars. The outer planets are Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune. Do you think that it is a good idea to continue to spend billions of dollars in space exploration? I believe that all the money they continue to spend on space exploration should be put into trying to save the planet we already have. What efforts are being made to explore the Sun? Include recent findings in your answer . Scientist are looking into sending spacecrafts to the sun without a person having to be inside due to the extreme temperature. Discuss the overall benefits that may be derived from space exploration. Overall benefits that may be derived from space exploration is finding another planet that could be inhabited, finding life that could possibly be out there and many more. List the planets described by the following: Innermost- Mercury Veiled- Venus Red- Mars Lord of the Heavens- Jupitar Elegant Planet- Saturn Twins- Venus Terrestrial- Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars Jovian- Jupiter, Uranus, Neptune Explain the following: Black holes- A place where the gravity is so strong not even light can pass through Hydrogen burning- where a single helium nucleus is formed through the fusion of 4 hydrogen nuclei. Galaxy- The collection of many stars, dust and gas in however many solar systems and is all held together by gravity Milky Way- The galaxy Earth is in. The name came from the shape of the galaxy. How does solar wind form? Solar wind forms from the outward expansion of Plasma from the suns Corona solar.
What is the relationship between halo and total eclipse? Total eclipse is when the moon blocks the suns face entirely. When this happens you can see the suns outermost layer of the sun which looks like a white halo
