1 - What did you learn - in terms of knowledge, skills, or perspectives - in this course? The answer to this question will generally be available in Vergil.
- I learned about Persian poetry and Hindu/Buddhist thought.
- Very interesting investigation into a body of literature I was utterly unfamiliar with. Gained an understanding of what seemed to be common themes in the literature among diverse societies in the Middle East and South Asia, and an appreciation for great works well outside our western canon. Knowledge of history was intertwined
with each text.
