Personal Theory Paper Personal Theory Paper School of School of Education, Liberty University Author Note I have no known conflict of interest to disclose. Correspondence concerning this case study should be addressed to. Introduction
Personal Theory Paper I consider teaching to be a very personal calling as an educator. I really think that I have been handpicked to work with special needs students because of my faith in God. Even if there might be difficulties in carrying out this project, I firmly believe that God has given me this duty for a purpose. It is essential for people of faith to consider their purpose in life and consider whether this is the route that God has chosen for them. Do I have a servant's heart when I teach? Are the gifts that God has given me being used in accordance with His purpose for me? It is our responsibility to faithfully carry out the tasks that God puts in our lives. God carefully plans every step we take; all we have to do is obey and follow His guidance. This gives us comfort. Nevertheless, we must make an effort if we want to trust God to direct our course. Grace should be the hallmark of our actions, and the fruits of the Spirit must always be evident in us. It is imperative that, as educators, our students see us as windows reflecting the compassion and love of God. Knowing that we would make mistakes, God made the supreme offering on the cross to reward for our sins. He carried the burden for us. As such, we recognize that we will not always be flawless examples of his messengers; occasionally, our humanity will come through. Our faith will grow as we regularly immerse ourselves in scripture and exhibit the fruits of the Spirit, which will make it easier for us to follow the footsteps of past prophets. I hold the belief that learning, and growth require careful nurturing. As an educator, it is imperative that I exercise mindfulness in both my actions and words towards my students. I regard my students as valuable members of God's flock, deserving of attentive care and support. In my current role teaching special education, I see my students as my kids in need of diligent care. I strive to provide them with the best possible guidance and assistance. Just as child require direction and instruction, so too do my students. It is my responsibility, as a follower of Islam, to extend love and leadership to my students in the same manner that our prophet has shown us.
Personal Theory Paper Qualities of an Effective Role Model As an educator and a committed believer of Islam, my goal is to emulate prophets in my classroom as much as I can. We are urged to flow the footsteps of all prophets, the Quran says: “Then in the footsteps of the prophets, We sent Jesus, son of Mary, confirming the Torah revealed before him. And We gave him the Gospel containing guidance and light and confirming what was revealed in the Torah—a guide and a lesson to the God-fearing.” ( Surah 5 Al-Ma'idah, Ayat 46-47). With a range of emotions, needs, and teenage hormones, navigating the classroom may frequently feel like navigating a battlefield. Especially in middle school, there can be unique difficulties. Maintaining my students' motivation and interest in the learning process is a challenge for me. It's true that sometimes they could prefer to use computers instead of listening to me talk about how to write short paragraphs. I find myself praying all the time, asking God to guide me in keeping a servant mentality. Sometimes I feel like I'm not getting enough credit or recognition, and I'm reminded that God probably knows how much I've struggled. We frequently fail to give God our full attention when we should. “Whenever someone is touched by hardship, they cry out to Us, whether lying on their side, sitting, or standing. But when We relieve their hardship, they return to their old ways as if they had never cried to Us to remove any hardship! This is how the misdeeds of the transgressors have been made appealing to them” (Surah 10 Yunus, Ayat 12-12). Even I can acknowledge instances in which I have failed to give God the honor and gratitude that He so richly merits. And there have been times when I've been ungrateful to the Lord. Having realized that teaching is my calling, I feel that God is pushing me to grow in my faith and level of dedication to Him. It is my duty as a role model for my students to put my faith in God and work toward becoming more like Him. The Teacher as an Effective Role Model In fact, completing in-depth training and participating in continual professional development are essential for teachers who want to set an excellent example for their students. Personal Theory Paper engineering, and mathematics are frequently entwined in practical applications, there has been an increasing focus on integrated STEM education in recent years. But since they have received most of their training in their particular subject areas, many K–12 teachers could find it difficult to integrate STEM into their lessons. This emphasizes how important it is to create Teacher Professional Development (TPD) programs that provide top-notch learning opportunities and assistance to educators. (Lo, C. K., 2021). According to social learning theory, learners are more likely to imitate the behaviors of positive role models in an environment that offers motivation and positive reinforcement, such as a welcoming learning environment (Kelm et al., 2020). Behaviors can also be learned through direct observation of others. I am very aware that my kids are watching everything I say and do in my role as a teacher. I deliberately try to plant seeds of love and optimism in my kids' hearts. The idea that we should treat others as we would like to be treated is important, therefore I teach my kids the value of kindness to one another when they are together, being there for a classmate when they need help, and being considerate of one another's emotions. Through the process of social learning, my students will be able to incorporate these actions into their everyday lives once I teach them. We promote a culture of love and nonjudgment in my school. My students get together to support and inspire one another to keep going when they stumble over a term or make a mistake on their assignments. The Teacher’s Responsibility as an Effective Team Member I would be negligent if I failed to recognize my classroom paraprofessional's priceless assistance. I know how important this position is in the classroom since I was in that position for many years. Right now, I work with a different people from different background who is really helpful and cares about our students. They do not only help individuals who need it most, but also give insightful advice and criticism on class planning. I genuinely think that the dynamics of the classroom would be very different in the absence of all these great people. Without a doubt, this team is the backbone of our educational setting.
Personal Theory Paper The Teacher’s Role in Cultivating Good Parent/Teacher Relationships Without a doubt, a teacher's duties go beyond simply building trusting bonds with parents. The Marzano Art and Science of Teaching Framework, provides a comprehensive model for effective teaching. Organized into four domains, the framework addresses classroom strategies and behaviors, planning and preparation, reflecting on teaching, and collegiality and professionalism, is used at my school. It emphasizes the integration of research-based instructional strategies, fostering a positive learning environment, meticulous lesson planning, ongoing self-reflection, and maintaining professionalism in teacher interactions. This adaptable framework serves as a guide for educators to enhance instructional practices, ultimately improving student learning outcomes. Concepts learned at school are reinforced at home in a synergistic learning environment that is created when parents and the school actively share information about what is being taught. The Teacher’s Approach to Student Diversity I view variety from the same perspective as Jesus Christ does. “And one of His signs is the creation of the heavens and the earth, and the diversity of your languages and colours. Surely in this are signs for those of ˹sound˺ knowledge” (Surah The Romans Verse-22). “Human beings, We created you all from a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes so that you may know one another. Verily the noblest of you in the sight of Allah is the most God-fearing of you.Surely Allah is All-Knowing, All-Aware.(49:13). The Quran recognizes the diversity of people and communities, highlighting the fact that people are made into nations and tribes in order to promote understanding and learning amongst them. The Quran has a significant impact on Muslim beliefs, customs, and cultures all across the world because of its comprehensive approach to life and appreciation of diversity. I treat every one of my kids with the same respect and consideration regardless of differences in appearance. Diversity, in my opinion, enhances the classroom's environment and culture. Teachers, especially those with diverse
Personal Theory Paper experiences, can learn a great deal from their students. It is our duty to establish a welcoming and encouraging environment where every student can succeed and go beyond any apparent boundaries. The Teacher’s Approach to Learners with Exceptionalities It appears that you take a particular tack when it comes to meeting the needs of students who have exceptionalities. There are no unusual children in the self-contained classroom where you are employed at the moment. But you say that you would speak with the administration if you had exceptional students in the future and might consider moving the student to a gifted classroom. It's critical to have a strategy in place to guarantee that each student gets the assistance and materials required for success in their learning environment. The Teacher’s Journey as a Lifelong Learner The journey of a teacher never ends. I became aware that there was still a great deal to learn even after earning my undergraduate degree. I feel like I'm just getting started as an educator because I choose to continue my studies at Liberty University. Considering the wide variety of challenges my students have, I think I'll constantly be learning and developing. My students teach me important lessons every single day. I am constantly conscious of the ongoing learning process I am going through, even if there are days when I feel secure and in control of my classroom. We can learn a great deal about life from children. I value their frank opinions on the matter. Their distinct point of view frequently provides a novel and perceptive perspective that is distinct from that of adults. Conclusions

Personal Theory Paper Essentially, I firmly feel that teaching is my calling from God. I have a deep-seated sense of assurance that this is my intended place. Educating in an independent environment is my spiritual calling. A committed paraprofessional in the classroom, true passion, continuous professional development, and a firm commitment to exhibiting the fruits of the Spirit are all necessary for effectively carrying out this calling. I firmly believe that God has called us to serve one another because He wants me to be an excellent teacher. God alone is worthy of all the praise when we serve others, especially our kids. We foster an atmosphere that supports and fosters children's growth by serving others and exhibiting the fruits of the Spirit. Teachers who actually care about their kids and are dedicated to supporting them are what we need. Teaching is an enormously more gratifying profession when you are sincerely driven to be in the classroom. I ask for God's blessings in my classroom every morning by lifting up prayers. I am well aware that my students are energy and knowledge sponges, soaking whatever I teach them. Above all, I try to provide grace, support, encouragement, and love. I understand that my calling from God is to love my students as He has loved the church. There is no questioning where you should be when you are walking in your God-given mission. We have a big part in a child's growth as educators. It is our duty to instill in them moral values. When kids get to school, we ought to be the first to greet them with a hug or a high five. For our students, our classrooms ought to be a second home. They will always be affected by the influence we have on their lives. Let us approach our teaching with courage and fearlessness, and let us pick our words with kindness and gentleness. Reference
