The pintail or northern pintail( Anas acuta) is a duck species with wide geographic division that manners in the northern areas of Europe and across the Palearctic and North America. It's migratory and discharges south of its lineage range to the dimension. Unexpectedly for a jeer with such a substantial range, it has no geographical species if the possibly conspecific duck Eaton's pintail is considered to be a separate species. This is a substantial duck, and the funnyman's long conciliator cortege feathers give rise to the species' English and scientific names. Both dealings have unprintable- slate bills and slate legs and bases. The drake is more striking, having a slim white stripe running from the reverse of its chocolate- coloured head down its region to its mainly white undercarriage. The drake also has attractive slate, brown, and black patterning on its rear and sides. The hen's plumage is more subtle and subdued, with drab brown feathers similar to those of other womanish dabbling ducks. Hens make a coarse quack and the drakes a ﬂute- suchlike sibilant. The northern pintail is a jeer of open wetlands which nests on the ground, constantly some distance from water. It feeds by dabbling for plant food and adds fragile faves to its diet during the nesting season. It's largely gregarious when not breeding, forming substantial mixed presses with other species of duck. This duck's population is affected by bloodsuckers, freeloaders and avian conditions. mortal exertion, analogous as husbandry, stalking and fumbling, have also had a significant jolt on numbers. nevertheless, owing to the huge range and substantial population of this species, it is not ﬂoated encyclopedically.
