Ticks are parasitic arachnids which live by feeding on the blood of mammals. They attach themselves to the skin of the host and feed on its blood. When a tick attaches and feeds on a human host, it can severely harm the host and cause diseases such as Lyme disease for example. (*minimum of 15 sentences required) a) Explain the process of parasitism ( a type of symbiotic relationship) involving the tick and the human. b) What are the three types of symbiotic relationships?
