A wrench is a hand tool used to tighten or loosen a fastener by the application of a torque to them by turning the objects. It is also known as spanner.
The wrenches are usually offset 15 degrees because this offset allows a greater range for movement in small enclosed spaces by the flipping of the wrench. This allows the wrench to be used in very narrow places such as the fuel line or the brake line of a vehicle.
