Consider the provided system of equations as,
Recall that a system of equations with three variables can be solved by elimination method and substitution method. Select any two pairs of equations from the system and eliminate the same variable by adding or subtracting and then simplify it.
Since, coefficient of z in first and third equation is same, so, add both the equations to eliminate z .
Now, multiply third equation by
Add this equation and the second equation to eliminate z as,
Since, both the same equations have different values; it means they have no point in common to each other.
Recall that a system of equations is said to have no solution if all the equations have no points in common to each other in all the three planes.
So, the given system of equations has no point in common and hence, has no solution.
Thus, the system of equations has no solution.
