This helps in understanding the factors responsible for an individual's particular behavior, which is a threat to society as a whole. It helps in solving the issues of these individuals by providing sufficient solutions.

Societal problems: it also focuses on the several societal problems that dragging the lives of individuals down, like poverty, unemployment, hungriness, etc. sociology provides a better solution to solve these issues by focusing on the root causes of the issue.
