What did cavemen eat winter?
Cavemen refer to the ancient prehistoric human at the early stage of evolutions, including Neanderthals.
Neanderthals and Homo neanderthalensis started living in caves during the paleolithic age because they provided natural security against animals and rain. Known as cavemen in popular culture, these primitive men were the first to step in the evolution of modern humans or homo sapiens who ate fish and animal meats since the plants were scarce during the winter. Very little was found by archaeologists about the cavemen's diet, mainly how they survived the cold climate when they migrated from African. One research found that cave dwellers caught fish from the frozen river and hunted animals, and kept them out. They primarily ate lean meat, especially eyes, bone marrow. Evidence suggested that cave dwellers sued to eat raw meats at first, but they gradually turned to cook the food in the fire for a better taste.
