Culture is an essential part of every individual's life. The culture is the one that makes the individual get to know the behavioral patterns that are to be inculcated to carry the social interactions with the people in a cultural setting. The culture is of two types. The material culture includes the objects, architecture, etc. the non-material culture consists of the beliefs, values, etc.

Culture is the one that is defined as the set of beliefs, values, rites, and rituals, etc., that shapes individual behavior in a cultural setting. Socialization is the process that inculcates the cultural values and beliefs for which the family plays a major role. The family is the one that is responsible for transmitting the cultural traits. Several words are associated with the culture.

  1. Beliefs: these are the ones that are unique to every culture. it consists of a set of accepted truths about certain natural or social aspects which the culture inculcates into the people.
  2. Ethics: it is the system of accepted beliefs that will control and shape individual behavior. This system is majorly based on morals.
  3. Values: these are the beliefs of the person, or they are also the beliefs of the social group where they contain an emotional investment.
  4. Civilization: it is the social process where the cultural societies achieve the advanced stages of cultural development and organization.
  5. Rites and rituals: these are the ones where every culture performs the rites and rituals at the time of ceremonies. For example, in the context of marriage, a particular culture performs rites and rituals that are distinct from the ones that s performed by the other cultures at ceremonial events.
  6. stereotypes: these are the perceptions that are generalized of first impressions. For example, in a culture, there exist gender stereotypes where the women are treated as the inferior ones compared to the men due to biological differences.
