so i have a question. when a magnet falls (either north pole or south pole facing the ground) what is the relationship of the speed of the fall to the polarity? will it fall faster/slower if the north pole is nearer to the ground or will it fall faster/slower if the south pole is nearer to the ground? or does the the path of the induced emf (clockwise or counterclockwise) have something to do with its speed? so i guess my main question is what makes a magnet falls slower/faster. thank you in advance :)
