Transcribed Image Text:Objective:
In this experiment, you will practice implementing a Boolean function in the minimum
number of literals forms, namely the sum of products (SOP) and product of sums (POS).
For this experiment the K-map will be used as the analytical tool and Logisim for
simulating and verifying the designed circuits prior to implementing the circuits, using
ICs, in the lab.
Problem:
Consider the following canonical form of a Boolean function F(W,X,Y,Z)
F(W, X,Y,Z)=E (1,3,4,5,6,7,12,14)
Task 2.1: What does the numbers in the brackets represent?
Task 2.2: Create a truth table to represent F(W, X,Y,Z) .
