Explain what the three levels states
Lawrence Kohlberg's theory consists of 3 levels of moral development. The 3 levels are, 1) Pre-Conventional level, 2) Conventional level and 3) Post-conventional level.
Kohlberg, asserted that moral development proceeds in succeeding stages. Moral development is the transformation in the ability to reason out which action is right and which action is wrong as per one's age.
Each level of Kohlberg's theory of moral development, consists of 2 stages. This means, as per Kohlberg, a child passes through 6 distinct stages of moral development, as they acquire abilities of moral reasoning.
