- Silk Road which is also recognised as the Silk Route was a historical business route that connects China with the Western part of the world. It is used to deliver goods and notions between the then two great cultures of Rome and China. Silk was traded in the region of the west and other materials such as wools, gold, and silver were traded to the eastern part of the world. China also accepted the arrival of Christianity and Buddhism from the country of India via the Silk Road.
