Describe Formation of the Umma
When Muhammad came to Medina, he developed the Constitution of Medina with many tribal emperors to established one community for both the Meccan migrants and Medinan citizens.
The Ummah appeared based on the fact that a messenger or prophet has been sent within a group. Contrary to the earlier messengers that have been sent in different groups in the past, Muhammad formed an Ummah. And it was for everyone in the community means universal and is not formed for the Arabs.
