Kirchoff's laws tells us how current flows through any circuit and variations of potential difference in a loop.

There are two laws:

I) KCL kirchoff's current law- states that current flowing into a node or junction must be equal to the current flowing out of it.

II) KVL kirchoff's voltage law- states that in any complete loop within a circuit, the sum of the voltage or potential difference across components which supply electrical energy must be equal the sum of all voltages across the other components in the same loop.
