Soils act as a buffer cover against the pollutants and thus protecting the underground water. Soils absorb water and can prevent floods. There are also other so many important roles of soils for the sustaining of ecosystem. There are also various types of soils depending upon their formation, genesis, processes, colour, texture etc. Usually, the soils are distinguished from each other by the soil colours and is noticed usually by the people.
