SAFMEDS Week 8 ABA 634: Figure 1.1 Yasamin Rezaei’s ABC Acquisition Standard Celeration Chart Chart 1.1 Yasamin Rezaei’s ABC Acquisition Raw Data
Chart 2. 1 Fluency Application Deck Report Chart 2. 2 Fluency Application Deck Report Timeline Data Analysis Figure 1.1 displays the data collected for January 30th –February 2th while studying deck 3 of the SAFMEDS for ABA 634. Acquisition accel data over the week shows an upward trend with low variability. The last accel data point of the week was at 17, indicating that I have met the AIM for deck three. Acquisition decel data is present with a low variability and decreasing trend.
Figure 2.1 displays the fluency data collected for the week of January 30th to Feb 2 th . As shown above, fluency accel is stays at a high level with moderate variability, indicating that fluency is maintained. Fluency decel is present at a low level with low variability. The highest accel of the week was 16. I studied the fluency deck with SAFMEDS by using the unlimited time setting before running recorded trials to review the fluency deck. Study Approach and Adjustments Antecedent: No intervention changes were made during this final week of SAFMEDS. I thought about changing the intervention but did not feel it needed to be completed. In the future, I focus on making interventions that promote more social interaction within the learning process to create a supportive study group. I hypothesize this could help with any lingering feelings of burnout and exhaustion. Since I met the aim for deck 3 this week, I lowered the number of trials and study time I ran daily. This week, I ran 5 trials and continued using the same study techniques. Current reinforcement procedures include one: being reinforced by finishing my SAFMEDS on time and entering the data the same night by doing a pedicure on Friday night. If I meet my daily goal by Friday night, I can reinforce myself by going out with my friends and celebrating my final week on Saturday. Other antecedent procedures include using auditory recording. I record myself saying the front of each card, pausing for 3 seconds, and then saying the back. Then, when listening to the auditory recording while driving, I attempt to “fill in” the term on the back before I read it. Additional procedures include making flashcards, writing the answers on blank cards, reading them out loud 5 days per week for 15 minutes, and taking them with me when I go to work. This procedure should be easy for anyone to use. Behavior: Five days per week, I run five 30-second timings for my acquisition deck, then shuffle between each timing, and enter the best data point into Precision X. For my fluency deck, I run three 30-second timings and enter the best data point into Precision X. This is done for a minimum of 5 days. Consequence: I enter the data on precision X after my 30-second timing to keep track of recording my data. The following week, I’m looking at the data and deck to see if I meet the AIM by the end of the week or if there is variability in the data. This week’s acquisition accel data has low variability and did meet the AIM line. This week’s acquisition accel data has low variability and decel with zero trend. No extra time added for decel cards this week. I did access my terminal reinforcer because I met the AIM. Adjustment: There is no adjustment needed for this week’s acquisition deck
