Share the problem you are focusing on in your research. The problem I am focusing on is how there are not a lot of mental health resources for youth who live in poverty areas whereas youth who live in wealth have more available resources for them without any issues. What would you like to know about this topic; that is, what is a gap in knowledge that your research on the topic could fill? I would like to know if youth in poverty areas have ways to provide transportation to their appointments or have an in-home service for mental health appointments, if better qualified physicians accept their Medicare insurance plan, and if treatment or rehabilitation centers will provide equal opportunities for these youth involved with substance use and who in live in poverty to be admitted in their facilities. A gap in knowledge that my research on the topic could fill is discovering how mental health is affected because youth who are involved in substance use and living in poverty varies for youth who live in wealth and are involved in substance use. Based on the identified problem, develop and share your research question here. My research question is "what is effect of mental health on youth involved with substance use living in poverty compare to youth involved with substance use living in wealth?" How does this problem relate to practice? This problem relates to social work practice because as a social worker it prevalent to be knowledgeable about the client's economic status, culture, and background to ensure they have their needs met.
