SPED Lesson Plan Template This special education lesson plan is designed for teaching a replacement behavior not academics ! As a special educator, from time to time, you will need to teach correct behaviors, particularly for students on a Behavior Intervention Plan. This lesson plan is for guiding you in designing a lesson for teaching a replacement behavior . INSTRUCTION: LESSON STRUCTURE AND PROCEDURES: Evidence-based Instructional Strategies In this section you will describe the approach you will take to implement this lesson. How will the students be engaged and motivated to learn? Include samples of questions or comments designed to: 1. Create interest; 2. Initiate the experience; and 3. Familiarize children with content-specific language. BE SPECIFIC!
