Read the assigned article “Why We Should Allow Performance Enhancing Drugs in Sport”. This article can be found on the course BlackBoard Site and the following link will also bring you to the article: https://bjsm.bmj.com/content/bjsports/38/6/666.full.pdf 2. Based on the article, perform the following tasks: a) Identify and explain how drug use in sport has impacted society. b) According to the article “strict liability is unfair to athletes, but its absence is equally unfair”, identify and explain two pros and two cons to allowing drug use in sports, use examples from the article and expand on arguments from academic material and class content. c) Select one Sport Organization that is impacted by substance use. Explain the social issue within these organizations pertaining to substance abuse. Select one social theory from the course lecture that will assist in explaining drug use in sport. d) Explain two solutions to minimize substance use in sport based on the selected Sport Organizations in 2 c). ** Refer to the Writing Report Guideline uploaded on Blackboard under Assignment, include an introduction and conclusion to this assignment** ** Use headings for each topic, summarize the headings, do not just use #1** **Minimum of 3 pages double spaced and maximum of 6 pages double spaced** You are welcome to meet with me to review a draft of your assignment.
