The Consensus View describes that crime is basically different types of behaviors, believed to be distasteful and unacceptable by society. The term “consensus” is used because it suggests a general understand amount society as a whole of what behaviors are considered good or bad and therefore which behavior should be considered a criminal act or not. The Consensus View implies the idea that all groups should come together regardless of race, social class or ethnicity and starting from that point of view decide what is right and what is wrong. Also believe that the law is a function of belief base in morality without taking in consideration different cultural backgrounds or if there was a family education or school education or even what other uncontrollable episodes in life any individual could experience. I think I mostly disagree with this terminology because even though many of us do not wish to address it or admit it, we all separate ourselves by classes, race, ethnicities, job titles, etc. Also every person experience life events at different levels, example: someone can lose a family member in a accident and be able to overcome such event, and for other person this event could lead him to commit a violent crime. When it comes to the legal system, I believe the system should be blind, and sometimes that is not the case. I think when a person that committed a crime punishable by law, stands in front of a judge or jury the only thing that should matter is the evidence and the facts.
