The monotheistic religion of Christianity, which is based on the teachings of Jesus Christ, is Christianity. It is estimated to have 2.4 billion followers, one-third of the global population. It brings to mind a thought that many called, but only a few are chosen. The core beliefs of Christianity are hope, joy, and love. Hope in the Lord is a beautiful thing to have. Even when you are hurt or mistreated, you can remain hopeful, strengthening your faith. “Father, the way humans are created reveals something about the character of God who created us”(Myers and Noebel, 2015, p.34). God created us; he wants us not to fear but to be courageous. When the enemy is involved, hope can sometimes feel hopeless. I hope you will keep going, and I have hope in the Lord that he will work your situation out for you. Joy is what you will receive in your
life when you let God into your heart—seeing the world through the creator’s eyes. Even though “seeing its fallen condition, and looking with hope and desire for its restoration” (Session 2, Viewing, 2020). We find joy in Jesus Christ's coming to save his people. You are joyful knowing God is good all the time. You find comfort and joy in knowing he wants an intimate relationship. You sing upbeat songs unto him when you are praising him. This unspeakable joy involves your inner being; you can feel it in your spirit. This joy is spiritual, not material. Christianity consists of the emotion of love. When you love God, you love others. God’s love will never end. His love is unconditional and freely given. God asks that you love him with all your mind, heart, and soul. The love for us is beyond our understanding. He sacrificed his only son, whom he loved, to pay for our sins. And have a way back to the father. Myers and Noebel (2015) say, “Such love and compassion result directly from following in the footsteps of Christ himself, the epitome of love and compassion” (p.17).

The beliefs to hold onto be considered Christian are believing the Bible is the inspired word of God, faith in the Trinity, and only the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. John 1:1 reads, “In the beginning was the word, and the Word was God” (Holy Bible, English Standard Version, 2016). The Bible was the word, so we must believe that God already established the Bible before the production of the first one. The word of God teaches us how to live and have grace and mercy towards others, as grace and mercy were given to us. The Bible teaches you to act more like Jesus and accept his teachings. Those who believe in the Holy Trinity are important. The Bible says so, “that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him" (Holy Bible, ESV, 2016, Ephesians 1:17). If you are a faithful Christian, you will believe that God after banishing Adam & Eve from Eden, he loved his son. He loved us despite sin in the world. He would send his only son to take our place for all our sins, and the son experienced the most humiliating death because he not only loved us, but he loved his Father and obeyed his Father. He could have stayed in Heaven knowing full well what we did. Without his great sacrifice, we would not have had salvation and
a person who has gone before us to advocate for us on our behalf before the Father. I feel like my spiritual eye, and I believe we were given a second chance at life because of the Death and Resurrection of Jesus Christ—the second chance to allow ourselves to get right with God before
Judgement Day. We are born again and must add holiness to our lives to please the Lord. Yes, we will all fall short of glory because we are humans and make mistakes. This is why God sent us a savior to learn from our mistakes, let us die to our old selves, and let the most powerful God change our lives to receive eternal life. God wants us to love him as your Lord and Savior. We want him as your Lord and Savior. Have love for others. Help those in need, do good works,

and give back grace and mercy as given to you. Whether a person chooses to believe in the gospel and God is entirely their choice; we have to (myself included) remember that and pray for God to come into their lives. We can disagree without being disagreeable.
