In your replies, you should focus on how your classmates perceived the issue through a biblical
worldview and how their biblical worldview agrees with yours or how their biblical worldview
differed.
Each reply must incorporate at least one citation from an authoritative source in
current APA format.
In your discussion posting you discussed a biblical worldview that stresses the importance of love,
justice, and morals. Smith (2015) describes a biblical worldview as one that is “comprehensive [and]
includes everything related to the doctrines, values, priorities, and understanding of how the world
works that the Bible commends and promotes” (p. 13). Taking the approach that you outlined would
help the policy analyst in deciding what course of action to pursue when facing a situation that conflicts
with their personal beliefs. In looking at the biblical worldview that I mentioned in my discussion posting,
it does seem to be very similar to yours. I noted in my response that if the policy analyst was evaluating
the policy from a biblical worldview they would be looking to see if the policy aligned with scripture. If
the policy conflicts with the analyst’s beliefs and viewpoints, it would be difficult for the analyst to
support the policy if it fails to adhere “to one’s personal conception of the good society” (p. 43).
