In one paragraph (75–150 words), describe Heavenly Father’s plan for His
children. (Moses 1:39; Doctrine and Covenants 14:7)
Heavenly Father’s plan for His children is to learn, grow, become like Him,
and go back to Him one day. Heavenly Father wants us to be happy
because that is part of his plan known as the plan of happiness through His
atoning sacrifice. Heavenly Father loves and cares for us so much hence
why he sent His only begotten son Jesus Christ to come die and save us
from our sins. He did this for us to be happy and not suffer.
8.
In one paragraph (75–150 words), provide a couple of examples explaining the
ways that God’s plan brings about His ultimate goal and purposes for His
children. (D&C 76:50–70, 91–95; 131:1–4; 132:19–25; 2 Nephi 31:14–21; 3
Nephi 27:1–21)
One example of explaining the ways that God’s plan brings about His
ultimate goal and purposes for His children is from 2 Nephi 31:14–21. God's
plan is for us to receive a testimony of an ever-lasting gospel and a
testimony that He is the Christ who died and went through all the hardships
to give us a chance to be able to return home again through baptism,
repentance, and keeping His commandments.
Another example of explaining the ways that God’s plan brings about His
ultimate goal and purposes for His children is from 3 Nephi 27:1–21.
Heavenly ultimate goal is to bring the correct church to His children. The
Church of Jesus Christ is the true church that teaches the correct
principles of the Savior than those other churches.
9.
In one paragraph (75–150 words), describe how gospel ordinances and
covenants help you receive the “power of godliness” and fulfill God’s ultimate
purpose to become like Him. (D&C 84:20)
The gospel of ordinances and covenants helps me receive the “power of
godliness” and fulfill God’s ultimate purpose to become like Him through
the covenants I have made with Jesus Christ. For example, when I got
baptized, I made a promise to take upon myself His name, to always
remember Him, Keep His Commandments, and Serve Him til the end. Not
only do I receive the “power of godliness” and fulfill God’s ultimate
purpose to become like Him but also receive blessings.
