2 A. The completed table with the elements of the Plan of Salvation you identified in the scriptures you studied. Scripture to Read Element of the Plan of Salvation Taught Mosiah 15:5– 31 You have to believe in Him in order to receive the plan of salvation. Mosiah 16 We ALL have to stand before Him in judgment to see the Salvation. Alma 11:34–46 Everyone will be resurrected to stand before Him to be judged based on their works. Alma 12:14–37 Those who repent will be forgiven for their sins. Alma 34 To pray for temporal and spiritual blessings because the eternal plan of redemption is based on faith and repentance. Alma 40 The Atonement is important and makes it so we can overcome spiritual and physical death, resurrection is a necessary part of the plan of salvation and that everyone will be resurrected. Alma 41 The restoration includes physical resurrection and spiritual restoration where our eternal states reflect our mortal lives. Alma 42 Sinners will be cut off from the presence of God. 3 Nephi 25 Mormon 9:1– 29 B. Your 250-word essay about the aspect of the Plan of Salvation for which you are most grateful. The aspect of the Plan of Salvation that I am most grateful for is that He created so many opportunities for all us to live the lives that we were meant to live. I am also grateful that He gave us the scriptures as a “guide” in order for us to stick to His plan. I am grateful that He made Earth for us and not that He made us for the Earth. I like that He made Earth for us and created equal opportunities for everyone on this Earth so that
3 no one is left behind. We all have an equal amount of chances to be able to live how He wants us to because of all of the opportunities He has given us. I am grateful for all of these opportunities, not only because I have access to them, but because everyone, including my friends and family do too. I like that all of these opportunities are available because even if we don’t see some opportunities or might pass some up, there are going to be more for us in the future. I am grateful that all of these opportunities are also experiences that we can learn from and also guide us to the next opportunities. I am grateful that we have the Spirit World because “ we are able to give everybody an equal opportunity before they're resurrected and judged. That then makes it so that nobody gets left behind. Nobody goes ahead in an unfair way. We all as a human family of mankind, are saved together and collectively are able to approach the possibilities of salvation equally” ( The Plan of Salvation" Transcript )
