Biblical Worldview
There are numerous different verses that talk about sharing the story of the gospel and
sharing the Word of God to people has increased the number of believers. When pastors at
Thomas Road share the gospel with the congregation or an individual they end up becoming a
believer. The church makes it clear that people who go to Thomas Road should live their life as
Christians and always be growing in their faith and with their relationship with the Lord. As part
of being a Christisan people should always invite people to church whether they are a believer or
not where they can hear and learn about God’s teaching and be able to have fellowship with
people. A verse from the Bible that can relate to this is Hebrews 10:25 “not giving up meeting
together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another and all the more as you
see the day approaching” (Zondervan, NIV, 2002).
Throughout making a public relations plan for my client I will consider some biblical
principles. I have come across some biblical principles when I was including some
characteristics of the target audience for this public relations plan. One of the biblical principles
that seems to be important for a public relations plan is faith that Christians have with God. God
is always someone who is here for us no matter regardless of the situation that we might be in or
whatever we might be going through in our life. Being truthful and honest is another biblical
principle that can be important for a public relations plan with this particular client. I have come
across another biblical principle which is being strong and courageous. Sometimes we don’t
always have a clear path or understanding of what our life will happen, and we're not always sure
what will. I strongly believe that it is ok to have times in our life where we might be afraid of
what is going to happen because God is always here for us no matter what we do or where we
might be. A verse from the New Testament that relates to public relations is 2 Timothy 3:17
“profitable for doctrine, reproof, correction and instruction in righteousness” (Zondervan New
International Version, 2002). This verse is shown to be helpful in directing a public relations
strategy and imparting knowledge of the significance. Some ways that public relations might be
seen in the Bible is reputation, seeking wisdom, and being an ambassador (Ross, 2020).
