The Old Testament 2
Leviticus' sacrifices in the chapters about God is not a list of rules. It is a handbook for the ancient Isrelite. In Levitical the rules don't give instructions and the language is separated. There is one language of God and Leviticus contains the law but is not legislature and is not the constitution of the law documents that is used to record the source of historians. Leviticus is the eye witness to God’s elevation of the Isrelaties from the slaves to the people of God. Leviticus is the law that concerns people's daily life and the book has rules that tells us the sacrifice and the ritual of the morals in the holiness. The book also tells us the instructions about how the Israelites were to use the Tubreal they built and which goes into details about the way it symbols and represents. The Leviticus book tells us about rituals and the respect toward the Tabernacle of
the Holy Place of God. The reason why I don't think God didn't give Israelites a second chance is because they refused to believe his promises and to obey his commands. The people said the land was inhabited and it
was impossible. Israelites told us that the spies refused the land from Canon. When you read God
punished the people by making them walk in the desert for around forty years. Evidence that I find in Deuteronomy 4-6 that God wanted the Isralities to obey from love and not
duty because Moses tells the Israelites that they need to obey God's commands because they love
God. Moses says that God is their God and he bought them slavery in Egypt. He also gave them land in the Cananon and Moses reminds the people that all good things God has done for them. God also wants Isreaelites to obey God because they love them and not because the people are not obligated to.
The Old Testament 3
In the three sacrifices that were important parts of the Israelities were their sacrifices that they served as a power to rims the Israelites relationship with God. The responsibilities to go by God's
command. The sacrifices of the Old Testament was the ultimate sacrifice that was made by Jesus. Jesus is our sacrifice for our sins. His sacrifice is what we need today to be forgiven for our sins and to have a relationship with God. References http://www.biblestudytools.com
