Running head: [SHORTENED TITLE UP TO 50 CHARACTERS] 1 Psychology in your life Yeira C. Barajas Psychology- 102 Professor Bonnell
[SHORTENED TITLE UP TO 50 CHARACTERS] 2 Developmental psychology in studies of humans across the life span best describes my field of study. Developmental psychologists mainly focus on human growth and changes across the lifespan, that even includes physical and emotional growth (Developmental Psychology studies, paragraph 1, 2014). Majoring in biology with an emphasis in Pre-medicine has a lot to do with kids and their health. Wanting to be an ob/gyn looking out for a child's health is the main thing. Making sure that the baby is 100% stable enough to make it to its mom is a development stage and is a part of their growth span. Psychologist conduct studying the differences between learning skills and styles in babies and adults (Developmental Psychology studies, paragraph 3, 2014). The role of a developmental psychologist has many. Some important ones are as stated before the lifespan of human growth and development, including physical, cognitive, intellectual, perceptual, personality and growth. They work with parents and doctors who can understand the situation and detect and treat any resulting psychological or health problems in the long run. Developmental psychologists break the life span into nine stages when working, they are prenatal development, infancy and toddlerhood, early hood, middle childhood, adolescence, early adulthood, middle adulthood, late adulthood (Periods of development, chapter 1, pg, 1). Developmental psychologist can impact my future career because it involves studying childhood/ infants for a long period of time. They would with doctors so if something is noted weird or wrong with an infant or newborn, they can detect it sooner than us. This helps the health care professions enormously because it saves many of the lives that could be in danger. This
[SHORTENED TITLE UP TO 50 CHARACTERS] 3 complements the major of ob/gyn because it helps others understand how our jobs are so important not just to the doctors but also to the patient's child. A health psychologist that promotes wellness could also describe my field of study as well. They examine how biological, social and factors influence health and illness. They promote health and illness to prevent illness and to improve our healthcare systems. Mjoring in biology with an emphasis in pre- medicine has a lot to do with infants getting ill and their health care not being the best to help them the baby out and the parents when needed. Bbays need to be watch and observed to make sure that they are eating enough, sleeping enough, and making sure if an illness does not come up to harm the baby. Health psychologists may supervise teams of research assistance who are exploring health issues and raging obesity prevention to patient adherence. They typically work one to one with patients when in need of help. (Gcu blog, what does a health psychologist do, september 20,2022). They mainly apply their expertise in many settings including, Private practicing, hospitals and primary care programs, university just as in GCU’s campus, corporation, and smoking cessation. They can develop health care strategies that foster emotional and physical well-being (Perusing a career in health psychology, Dr. J. Purnell, 2014). This subject of field complements my major because it makes our jobs and acts of care much better, seen and noticed by other people who do not have the same medica felids as us. Health psycologist but a lot of help into hospitals to work with their patient, even if it's just to sit with them and help them out whenever they need. Patients and kids love the work and attention

If it's young adults, infants, teenagers and adults they appreciate every help that was given to them and the second or more opportunities they recived.
