Would you consider choosing feminist, solution-focused, or narrative therapies when counseling individual clients, marriage clients, and family clients? What empirical evidence is available to support the use of these theories? All 3 therapeutic approaches can be used depending on the circumstances of the clients. This will allow counselors choose the appropriate approach. Feminist theory is a therapeutic approach that empowers and supports women in overcoming societal challenges, it focuses on the individual and how all forms of oppression can impact their lives. This approach can allow individuals to learn how to end the stereotypes and roles that people assume that they have that could be possibly holding them back from new opportunities as well as self- development.
