Racism in the Church Racism, what is it? It is the act of being prejudice and discriminating. God has called us as Christians to be against racism and prejudice of any kind. Over time the Christians fought to establish rights for groups who have endured being hurt because of their race or simply who they are. True Christians were ready to drive away slavery and rid of it. May Christians have been involved in the Black Lives Matter movement. Due to the shame and deception somewhere in the church, many have misused and misunderstood the bible to not be against the evils of slavery and racism. During the time that Jesus resided on earth, his lifestyle and teachings demonstrated over 2,000 years ago that the practices were wrong. Jesus did not turn his back on others. He accepted all people because of his Lovingkindness (Jeremiah 31:3) and care for the world. He accepted even people of the less fortunate group.
When the Jews hated and avoided the Samaritans, a mixed race in the community, Jesus still mingled with them as if they were equal. One of the stories he used to teach those that followed him is “The Good Samaritan.” Jesus refers to slaves in some of his teachings as being one who is a prisoner of good works and salvation not being bound and captive. The book of Mark teaches us to love our neighbor as ourselves. Slavery and racism are a violation of the principles of love that Jesus taught. In the Old Testament, before Jesus was sent out, three groups of people were pointed out because they were vulnerable such as orphans, widows, and people of another race. The book of Exodus says do not
oppress or mistreat a foreigner for you were foreigners in Egypt. Laws were established to help other ethnic groups to keep pushing in situations in which they might suffer. In the early years of Christianity, the first century after the life of Jesus, there were teachings about the equality of all people despite race, gender, or status. The book Galatians says
there is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female for you are all one in Christ Jesus. There were people of color appointed for positions of leadership in the first churches. Among the church in Antioch, Simeon Peter was among those leaders. The book of Acts talks about how he had black skin. Racism should not be overlooked in Christian history where hatred and cruelty against one race or another. Christians would say that racism was overlooked by churches in generations that were previously based on ignorance and misunderstanding of the bible. For hundreds of years, they classified Jesus as a blue eye, blond man despite the fact he was Jewish and was born in the Middle East. Some Christians would say racism is still a continued issue. Some are frustrated by what you call institutional racism in the public bodied which has at times at the church held back the work of people of color. The churches have made progress which reflects the Christian teaching that God made all humans in his image.

Racial discrimination took over the moment of character. The reason that it matters is because of tension that stirs up countries. Racism is a sin; a sin that makes divisions between the human family. It takes out the image of God (Standard Social Innovation Review https://ssir.org>articles>entry). Our Society is surrounded all around racism. Racism is geared toward being successful of
the majority and is a failure for the minority. People that are attached to both groups are giving unwitting approval by accepting things the way that they are. There is no single individual to blame. Sinfulness is often unknown but real. Sin is social by nature in each of us, and responsible
in various degrees to take on responsibility. All of us in some way or another are responsible for the behaviors. The church needs to turn away from all the sins of racism and turn to God with all its heart. This is a terrible sin that mocks the cross of Christ. Racism is a sin that is trying to take over society. There is a struggle everywhere because racism is cruel, and some people think it is righteousness and it is very wrong. There is a need for repentance from racism. Those who are commended to die will be the result of all these situations. Poor and disproportionately black abolition of the death penalty will not stop racism and the effects it is doing. Black leaders in the
American churches need to be encouraged because there is still racism in the church for, they must pray more.
We must not forget about racism because it will overcome us if we let it. People of God must continue to work together despite what is going on around us. We need not overlook those that hunger and those that are injustice. Racism is still in our churches as well as in society. We often share our concerns with the ones who are forgettable in this world more than are sharing Christ. If we are treating people in an ungodly fashion, we cannot pray to the Father truly because we are wrong in our actions in how we are treating our brothers and sisters. Remember that all men are created in God’s image.
Pontifical Commission on Justice and Peace, 1988, #19 had the church and racism more towards fraternal society. The church was rightly defined as a sacrament by the Second Vatican Council, a sign and instrument, of communion with God and unity among all men since both Christ and the church. The distinction between race and nationality. It is very important to recognize the division and diversity and complementarity of one another’s cultural riches. Anybody that is a victim of racism must be defended. Acts of discrimination, among persons and peoples for racist or other reasons such as religion or ideology led to contempt, and phenomena of exclusion, must be denounced and brought to light without hesitation. Racism when it dies in people’s hearts, then it will disappear from legal text. Racism is in every nation. There are several things a church could do to fight racism such as hosting a Zoom conversation or amplifying a video streaming platform, leading a small group study authored by a person of color that is against racism, and starting a book club to read diverse books to kids (Ontavio Human Rights Commission https://www.ohrc.on.ca).

To help stop racism taking an online course and making an action plan is a big help. Racism takes a toll on the mental state of an individual. The discrimination against people because of their color, religion, etc
....
must stop! We must talk about these issues and deal with them. Many churches are divided because of racism. We must work together so that we can accomplish reducing racism. Racism is a form of bullying. Bullying has caused many to commit suicide and develop low self-esteem. Often time people can be operating in racism and don’t even know it. That’s why it’s important to love everyone and treat everyone the way that you would like to be treated. We should not stereotype or categorize people in a funny way based on ethnicity. To make someone feel less of themselves because of their skin color is cruel. Many statements made
today in churches are racist. We should govern our tongues and become more like Christ. Racism normally has negative emotional reactions to members of the groups. Some racial
groups are inferior to one another. Most of the time negative stereotypes and racial discrimination against individuals in several areas lead to violence. Discrimination uses some differential treatment of the members of unique, religious, national, or other groups. Discrimination is a type of behavioral manifestation of prejudice and therefore involves negative, hostile, and injurious treatment of members of rejected groups. Racism and racial prejudice, hatred, or discrimination have something to do with one group having the power to carry out systematic discrimination through the insertional policies and practices of the society and by shaping the cultural beliefs and values that support the racist policies and practices. “Racism” equals racial prejudice plus power. According to racial prejudice discriminatory or derogatory attitudes are based on assumptions derived from a person’s perception of race/skin color. The ideals of reinforcement continue to the social “hierarchy” which was once created to justify the so-called “inferior” status of which was not white, able bodies Europeans. The society we live in continues to privilege those who are “higher up” within these structures, in other words, those who most likely have this ideal. Racial prejudice normally originates from somewhere along this socially constructed “hierarchy” and is also directed by someone or a group in another location on the hierarchy. April 15, 2023, reports found that democracy for black Americans is under attack. Biological races begin to be recognized as cultural inventions, entirely without scientific basis. In
1788, Race and Racism has been central to the organization of The Australian Society since European colonization. Racism has been adjusted and changed over time, and many impacted different communities in different ways during racism towards different groups which was difficult in different historical moments.
Smith 6
Racism should be stopped; Christians should stand against it. Racism humiliates many groups and that is not how we should live our lives. People are often hurt by racism in the mean world, but it should not creep into the House of God.

Sexism
Sexism, Many experiences this every day, some experience it on the job and in many other places. The church is a big place where you can see sexism in some of them. Sexism is a form of discrimination and prejudice. Sexism discriminates against an individual’s God-given sex. Anyone can be affected by sexism, but it affects mainly the society of females. Women and girls are normally experiencing sexism more than men even though some men do experience it, it
has been attached to stereotypes and gender roles. It may include the belief that one’s sex or gender may be superior to another.
Sexism’s origin is unclear, it emerged from “The second wave” feminism of the 1960s through the 80s. It was more likely modeled on the civil rights movement’s term racism (Prejudice or Discrimination based on race). It imposes limits on what men, women, girls, and boys can or should do. Sexism was the concept of originally raising consciousness about the oppression of girls and women. Even though by the early 21
st
century it has grown to include the oppression of any sex including men and boys, intersex people, and transgender people. Its function is to maintain male domination through ideological and material practices of individuals, collectives, and institutions that oppress women and girls based on sex or gender. These oppressions usually take the place of economic exploitation and social domination. Women and Men are opposite according to these views. Society often believes that women or the weaker sex are not as capable as men. They are looked at as minorities and the weaker link. Society views women as less capable than men in rational reasoning, and the realm of emotions, and according to that theory, it is believed that they cannot be good leaders in business. Though women’s work may seem more like caregivers and fit for domestic work, their roles are still devalued and not valued at all when compared with men’s work. The sexist ideology is misogyny, the hatred of women. In society, there are high rates of brutality against women. Some examples are domestic violence, rape, and the commodification of women and their bodies. Women are normally mistreated as an induvial also at the institutional level. A woman that is a victim of rape might be told by the judge and jury (The institutional level) that she may have been judged by the way she is dressed. Many feminists were frustrated when women stressed the systematic nature of women’s oppression. Many have argued that men and boys by their actions became the ones discriminated against in jobs and school admission because of their
sex. Many men feel as if this is a female-dominated society. The woman discipline from women’s studies helps women with their oppression and resilience, then the men’s movement felt like it was time to document men’s oppression. Proponents wanted research to address the
Smith 8
limitations of gender roles on both sexes. Some believe that sexism can be found in education as it has attracted particular attention. Many types of sexism exist. Each of these types can have very harmful consequences. There are six main types of sexism to be discussed.
The first is Hostile sexism. This type could be a woman trying to control men through seduction and manipulation. It is believed that men are weak to women’s bodies and cannot overcome temptation. This type considers women superior to men by the usage of their bodies. The second is Benevolent sexism. Despite what the name suggests, this type of sexism does just as much damage. This type wanted to protect women because she is considered the weaker link. This type is more socially accepted. It is not always easily recognized. This type is a
stereotype saying that women are nester than men. The third is Ambivalent sexism this type combines both hostile and benevolent forms. An
example of this is judging a woman based on how she is dressed. Another example is hanging out with a person and hiring them how they look. The fourth is Interpersonal sexism this type of interaction every day with partners, friends, family members, etc. An example is to accuse of not acting ladylike or making jokes based on sexist beliefs. The fifth is Internalized sexists. This is when you are repeatedly exposed to sexist behavior and language. An example of this is feelings of incompetence based purely on your sex or gender or telling jokes that put people down of their gender. Lastly, Institutional sexism is a type of sexism that occurs when institutions like the media, religion, education, etc.…… It can contribute to internalized sexism. This type may cause
feelings of incompetence, self-doubt, powerlessness, and shame. It causes people to unintentionally collude with sexism. An example of this is feeling some type of shame about aspects of being a female or having periods or female genitalia. In the eyes of men, someone basing their self-worth on how desirable they are in the eyes of men. All types of sexism are harmful to the health of society. To stop this, you should crucially understand how it manifests and then challenge sexist attitudes and practices at all levels from the internal to the institutional. We should try to understand people of behavior as sexists and not be judgmental. Pray for them and encourages them to become better. Galatians 3:28 states that there is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is no male, and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. (1
st
Corinthians 11:12) For as women were made from man, so man is now born of woman. All things are from God and everything that he has made is good in his eyesight and should be in ours also.
Smith 9
Genesis 1:27 lets us know that God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them. Judges 4:4, Now Deborah, a prophetess the wife of Lappidoth was judging Israel at that time. 1
st
Corinthians 11:19, Neither was man created
for woman, but woman for man. Ephesians 5:21, submitting to one another out of reverence for Christ. (Psalms The Lord gives the word; the women who announce the news are a great host. Early childhood is where sexuality is important, and the natural characteristics of all people begin. Some believe that they would be bullied, harassed, and discriminated against so this stops them from being free to speak. Harassing and bullying can cause children and teens to be at a higher risk of dropping out of school or running away from home. What parents should do is be supportive in making sure that their LGBT Child grows up healthy and strong. You may not support their lifestyle but your love for them just as your child can nurture them back into a Godly way. You should not bully them or harass them but rather sit down and talk with them, find out why, teach them the truth, and still love them. Parents could be involved in helping their children recognize bullying, harassment, and discrimination. Parents can help children cope with what they are going through. Be a role model and educate yourself about sexual and gender diversity. Be positive and then set an example to help your child. When others make jokes about their sexual orientation, you love them. Sexism is throughout the world, and many have committed suicide from being harassed. Often jokes are, and we laugh without thinking about the effect on others. The problem is
not that you are making the joke, but it is the person that is being hurt by it. A lot of these things are happening because of what we see happening in the media. Sexism affects every level of society. Starting from institutions and government to personal relationships. It affects women and
other marginalized genders worse. As likely as society takes it, Sexism indirectly harms men. Any type of action, speech, law, practice, or media representation that places a higher value on one gender or sex over another is sexist. Rather the institution or person meant to cause harm or not. Sexism spread throughout the church for many years. Many of years women were not allowed to preach and, in some churches, they were not allowed to do anything but clean and cook. Years went by and women began to do more but there was a battle in women being able to preach or even pastor a church. Until this day some women receive backlash even though it is not as bad. Many women Apostles and Bishop are attacked by sexists saying that they are walking in a position ordained for Men. God pour his spirit upon all flesh, but many attacked female preachers, harass them, and discriminated against them. There has been only one woman ever in history that has been a worldwide nominee for president which was Hillary Clinton. Many do not believe that a woman should lead this nation. This nation has never had a women president in history because of sexism toward women. There has been only one woman in history also that has won office as vice president in 2020, Kamala Harris. Though sexism is still present, women are still able to hold higher positions. Just as

racism is out wild in the land so is sexism. Sexism should not also creep into the church and oppress women. Women should be able to allow God’s anointing to use them and take control without being looked at as masculine because they are operating under the Spirit of God. Where are the Men in the church?
The world seems to be confused about basic matters, like what it means to be a male. The
churches are to help men find true healing. We must reach men in Jesus Christ by the power of Christ’s death and resurrection. The church is really in great need of awakening and renewal. Its greatest need might well be godly men said Richard Baxter. Three suggestions to give to regain biblical manhood. One is authentic engagement, The core of the problem within society is few men within the church are engaging the world. There are a few examples of godly men around us. The world looks to leadership to be characterized more by admonition and instruction than characterized by authentic examples. One day every son is looking forward to following in their father’s footsteps if they are a hero to them. Robert E. Coleman from the book master plan of Evangelism said very well, that it
is good to break down and explain what you mean so others can understand. Folks are looking for a demonstration, not an explanation. The local church’s idea of men’s ministry is to provide food, sports, or entertainment while we look and dance around men’s deepest problems without addressing them. Everywhere you go today in today’s world men are suffering from crushed masculinity. We have men that are “bench warmers” and the church thinks that it’s a sports spectator. We have not been called to play church or look pretty and handsome just for entertainment to impress people. John Wesley says give me 100 men who fear nothing but sin and desires nothing
but God; such alone will shake the gates of hell. We need to pray that God will call and send forth a new generation of men who wills stand up and be humble and will sacrificially stand and follow our Lord Jesus with devoted hearts to the Glory of God. For six years Jonathan Hayashi (B.A.C and M.A. Mordy Theological Seminary) is a pastoral staff at Troy First Baptist Church in Troy, MO. He is also a Doctoral student at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Before he served at an inner-city church in Chicago, IL for six years and taught Apologetics and philosophy at the PG M Center. His spouse’s name is Kenned, and they have two beautiful daughters. A lot of men are incarcerated, on drugs, on the streets, and involved with domestic violence. Jordan Peterson has a new video out with a message to churches. We should encourage the men daily to repent and to come on in and do what God’s will is for them to do. Encourage them to stand up and do what God has called them to be and send out for them to do. Encourage them to be great fathers, brothers, and sons, and most of all stand up for the Gospel teaching, preaching, and carrying out the truth in all parts of the world so that God can bless the nation even more. We need more men to stand up for the truth which is the word of God.
Smith 11
The Church has got to come up a little higher. Many churches do not offer anything much
for young men. Some men are still in the church but in the pews in most, the women outnumber them tremendously. Women are practicing their religion more than men. When walking in the church in most people’s minds they ask, “Where are the men.” According to Cathy Grossman of USA Today, Women outnumber men in attending every major Christian denomination and they are 20% to 25 % more likely to go to worship service at least weekly. The
2002 U.S. Congregational Life Survey (USCLS) reinforces this data. This survey reveals that an average American congregation is roughly 61% female and 39% male. Most females like to attend church more if the man of the household attends. Therefore, it does matter for the man of the household to be in church. Ross Sawyers, Pastor of 121 community churches explain more likely 90% more likely to come to church if the man of the household attends. So that means with a minority of men as important as the one described by Grossman and the USCLS, it is a risk of the majority, risks of the church losing its congregation (both male and female) over time.
The good news is that the number of men that do not go to church has gone down from 60% in 2002 to 54% in 2014. There was a Barn Study conducted in 2007 showing that roughly 75% of mothers said that faith was important in their lives, while only around 66% of fathers agreed. What is even more, provoking is that 5 of 6 men consider themselves Christians and profess faith in God, but only a fraction of them go to church. Nancy Pearcey the author of the book total truth: Liberating Christianity from its cultural captivity, says in her book that the gender gap in Christianity may have begun as long ago as the dawn of the Industrial Age. Pearcey argues that the Industrial Revolution drove men away from the home and into more distant workplaces. She believes that this may have driven a wedge between the work and private lives of men, leaving the women at home to take care of matters such as child rearing and religion. While maybe this may be true, David Murrow, author of Why Men Hate Going to Church, says it is the modern feminization of the church that is driving men away. Murrow argues that the church has “wrapped the Gospel in this man-repellent package” by
representing the church as a “relational” and “nurturing” congregation. He believes that the warm presentation of the church is alienating to more “goal-driven” and “competitive” men. Of course, many women followed Jesus right to his crucifixion. Many women supported Jesus and his disciples in their ministry Luke 8:3. When becoming a follower of Jesus Christ many risks are required. When following Christ, you must understand the purpose
and stand in humility and self-denial. We need more men to stand up for this. These things can be
hard, and it requires a certain strength and boldness. If churches preach and teach the strong, bold, adventurous, and unadulterated truth of the bible then it would help more men come to the church. The men need to be taught about the strong men of the bible that served well. These men consist of Moses, Elijah, Peter, and many others. We must encourage and push the men to follow in these footsteps as they followed Christ.
Smith 12
The women’s faith in Christ is not a crutch for the men. Women are not the only ones who need faith. Men need faith also as every man must give an account for themselves. Every man is given a measure of faith. We must encourage men’s faith and not tear them down. Every human in this life needs Jesus Christ. It is important to be taught about and establish a relationship with him. We must encourage our men to come to church and learn how to be real men (Knowing Jesus, https://bibleknowing-Jesus.com)
It would be good to put a projection and a new sound system in your church. It is good to also establish committees for men to work in. This typically creates a lot of jobs for men in the congregation and even some jobs for men you would like to draw into the ministry. Murrow points out in his chapter on boys and faith, boys and men are much more often kinesthetic learners, they need to be actively involved in their learning. A long, verbal monologue is often just the wrong thing for them, though this can be considerably helped using stories, images in preaching, and demonstration (Wesleyan Covenant Association, https://wesleyancovenant.org). Some young men have left the church because there is no involvement for them. Many of
them are pushed aside and cannot be active in church. Churches should take time with these young men and allow them to be a part of youth groups, singing, music, etc. These young men would like to go to the park and play kickball, football, basketball, and other activities. Allowing young men to become active in different areas of the church makes it easier to keep their attention (crosswalk.com, https://www.crosswalk.com)
It is important to gather the men for prayer and to encourage them. Many men feel now that when they come to the church it’s not much for them to do. It is important to have things for the women and men to participate in. Men are needed in the church also and they should be reminded that their jobs are important and not overlooked. Many men do maintenance work and do not get any recognition, some of them are mechanics and help fix some of the member’s cars. Many men have businesses but sometimes it is like the female business gets more advertisement.
We must fairly distribute treatment. Women and men both play an important role and should always be reminded that not is more important than the other. Men should not be looked at as just men that do hard and manual labor. They deserve appreciation and love also. They do not want to work all the time and never receive any type of encouragement and love. The men desire to be looked at as somebody also and treated with respect. Yes, men’s nature is tougher most of the time, but they can break also. Lastly and this may seem like a very decreased reason, but some men have left the church
because of Women preachers trying to portray them as masculine. God calls women to preach but not to be masculine. A woman preacher should still know her femininity in the midst of having authority.

Smith 13
Then on the other hand some men have left the church because of the rejection of women
preachers. Some of them have been forced for years to be against women preachers and they have been dextrinized and are not resentful of the doctrine they have been drilled with. Some men for years have believed in women but were attacked by other men that did not believe in Women preachers. This is why it is important for women preachers to talk to these men and show them love and that their place in ministry is needed because not all doctrines are the same. Homosexuality/Gender and Sexual Diversity
Gay men and Lesbians have been attacked and harassed, silenced, and made invisible in Australia. This type of prejudice and discrimination has been reinforced structurally through social, cultural, and political institutions.
Even though now sexual orientation is included in state and territory anti-discrimination legislation and recent federal legislative change supports greater parity with the rights of heterosexuals, there still is discrimination towards lesbians and gay men. Sexual orientation is often a pattern that holds out emotional, romantic, and/or sexual attractions of men to women, or women to men (heterosexual), women to women, or men to men (homosexual), or by men or women to both sexes (bisexual). People that don’t claim male or female or which assign from birth are referred to as “gender nonbinary” or genderqueer. About the ages 3-5, children have a sense of their gender. People develop a sense of sexual orientation as they mature. The important aspects of a young person’s identity are sexual orientation and gender identity/expression. For example, some young
people have trouble identifying themselves, meaning they are unsure of their sexual orientation. Whereas others have already been clear about it since childhood and have expressed it ever since
they were young children. A part of normal development is the expression of how you’re feeling and exploring gender identity and roles. According to each individual, it is unique to understand and express one’s sexual orientation, and gender identity. Young people who sometimes identify as LGBTIQA can experience different challenges because of how others respond to their gender. Some young people don’t want to open up because they are not comfortable. They are afraid of being judged. In a 2021 survey with nearly 35,000 LGBTQIA youth, about 75 percent reported experiencing discrimination based on their sexual orientation or gender identity at least once in their life. Physical and emotional bias and violence, rejection by schools, employment, and communities are negative vibes because of sexual orientation and gender identity/expression. Research shows that these are risks for young people to be homeless, commit, suicide, and do illegal drugs, they may also contribute to anxiety and depressive symptoms that make them carry
the feeling of isolation and rejection. These youth open up for counseling from their childhood which includes physical, phycological, and sexual abuse. They are at risk of school victimization.
Smith 14
Health Considerations for LGBTIQA Youth is a website that will protect data related to health risks and sexual minority youth. Diversity can mean many things to each and every one based on race, religion, culture, physical ability, mental ability, family make-up, etc.…... They include diversity. When talking about sex and gender diversity, it is important to understand sex, sexual orientation, gender/gender identity, and gender expression. Everyone is different in many ways. Many people have used words as though everyone is
heterosexual and cisgender (heteronormative language). Using the term boyfriend and girlfriend instead of a partner, without realizing that it excludes sexual and gender minorities is an example. Between 1 in 10, many believe Canadians identify themselves as LGBTIQA. You cannot look at somebody and assume their sexual orientation. In the nation’s church, the topic of being gay is very intense to talk about. Matthew Vines is an openly gay, Evangelical Christian, and the author of God and the gay Christian. He wanted some to re-evaluate their ways of beliefs about homosexuality. Through the organization he founded, the reformation project. He was recently invited by Rev. Caleb Kaltenbach, lead pastor of Discovery Church in Simi Valley, California to talk privately with a small group of evangelical leaders to discuss what the bible says about gay relationships. Mr. Kaltenbach is the author of the forthcoming book “Messy Grace” which is how he reconciles his conservative Christian convictions with his experiences as a child of gay parents. Romans 1:26-27, For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections; for even their women did change the natural uses into that which is against nature: v.27 and likewise, also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one towards another; men with men working that which is unseemingly, and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was met. Paul was very familiar with biblical and secular views of sexual orientation and says that having sex with someone of the same gender is a sin. This passage was intercepted by some as a reference to heterosexuals who exchange their natural sexual orientation for that which was not natural to them. Leviticus 18:22 Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman; that is detestable (Kinsey Institute,(https://kinseyinstitute.org>research)
Gender and sexual diversity, or simply sexual diversity refer to all the diversities of sex characteristics, sexual orientations, and gender identities, without the need to specify each of the identities, behaviors, or characteristics from this plurality (youth.gov, gladmediareferenceguide-
LGBTTerms,https://www.glass.org>reference). We Christians we must understand the phases of the life that others go through. Everyone’s phases are different, but we must understand and be prayer warriors in their lives. We
should pray and encourage others no matter what they are in and help them to come out. Some experience the phase of homosexuality but there is deliverance for them. In the church, we must teach and preach the word of God but also get to understand others so that we can help them and not gossip about them.
Smith 15
Church bullying toward homosexuals is not healthy. We are supposed to restore one another. Everyone’s issue has been different in this walk of life but there is deliverance if we accept it. For years the church has pinpointed homosexuality and discriminated against them. It is not our job to freshly judge but righteously judge. Matthew 7, “Judge not unrighteously, that ye be not judged; but judge righteous judgment.” We should judge by seeing their faults, teaching them and attempting to restore them. Not everyone has just decided that one day they will try to change their gender. This goes
deeper than that. Not everyone just decides to like the same sex. Some have deeper battles than that. Understanding everyone’s background is what’s important to help them. Some have experienced traumatizing abuse such as rape. Many are experiencing homosexuality from molestation. They have developed to like the same sex because the same sex
raped them or touched on them the wrong way when they were younger. When you are young, you look up to adults and they take advantage of you and use you as their play toy. This is hurtful
and then it develops a mind mentality to be pleased in that way. When experiencing trauma through molestation it can be a stronghold of just being used to something because you were taken advantage of and now you are comfortable in just receiving it. Some have forefathers that have been homosexuals and some of them were raised around it. They have inherited homosexuality which is a generational curse. Some have inherited this curse and do not know how to break it off their lives. Some have been raised around homosexuality and inherited it by being around it growing up as a child such as same-sex marriages in the home. Growing up spending nights at others’ homes can call for games “Truth or Dear” or it can
call for curiosity and then you’re feeling and touching. As parents, you must be careful of where you allow your children to stay and for a long period. Some children have developed a homosexual lifestyle because of this reason. Spending nights at someone’s home and end up touching and feeling or simply playing a “Truth or dare” game. School, Friends, etc… can cause peer pressure. In a young stage, many are not as strong as others have faces face pressure to participate in activities to be in a “Click” or to be a part of a group and get what they want. In other words, bribery and manipulation by their younger peers who have already experienced this. Homosexuality can develop from peer pressure and trying to fit in, so you secretly participate in activities. In some homes, there are absent fathers, some abusive husbands, and abusive wives. Some children have grown to see this, and it has steered their sexual preferences. Some ladies grow up to become lesbians not wanting a man to treat them like how their fathers treated their mother and vice versa with some gay men as they did not want an abusive woman. Some have turned to men have turned to homosexuality because they did not have a strong father figure but rather had an absent father in the home.

Many different circumstances stem from why homosexuality has developed. It can be various of these reasons and then some just have personally decided to be a homosexual. We should always seek to help and minister to them. They are still human and most of all a soul. They have souls to be saved and delivered. Women Preachers
Women were “outstanding among Apostles” (Romans 16:17) they are often overlooked but they have great works that have been recorded in the bible. Even though there weren’t many long stories about them, their leadership was recorded in the bible. There is Anna, who was a prophetess (Luke 2:36) along with the four daughters of Philip who also prophesied (Acts 21:9). A prophet (Female-Prophetess) in the biblical sense, is a truth-teller delivering God’s message to the world. Other women in the bible held positions. These women are recorded in leadership roles and of honor. Phoebe was a deacon (Romans 16:1). Junia, whom the bible describes not only as an Apostle but an outstanding one (Romans 16:7). Paul named Priscilla as a “Co-worker” along with her husband, in Christ, and in Acts 18, Priscilla teaches Apollos, a man that was capable of learning, which is a great knowledge of scripture. Despite his expertise, Priscilla was more capable of explaining the way of God with more understanding to him. He expressed no dismay at her gender. Priscilla’s name is listed before her husband, and she was mentioned in many of the passages. It was done in a culture in which the husband’s name would be mentioned first in most cases. It is suggested that Priscilla, rather than Aquila, was the leader of this couple. There is only one verse in all the Scriptures that talk about women shouldn’t teach men. The very first Christian preacher was all women. Women were the first to learn of Christ’s resurrection as the four gospel teaches about this (Luke 24:9).
When Jesus appears to these women, they were the first to share the news with others. Mary Magdalene (Mark 16:9-10) was the first to proclaim. John 20:17-18 outlines Mary Magdalene and the other Mary. Mary, Mary Magdalene, Joanna, and others (Luke 24:9-10. The resurrection was first told, and it was proclaimed by a woman. There wouldn’t be a church if women had kept silent in church.
Huldah is overlooked by men (2 Kings 22:11, 20:2, 2
nd
Chronicles 34:14-33) She was overlooked by men saying she was nothing but invisible. When the men were cleaning out the temple which was King Josiah’s men, they discovered a scroll of the Book of Law given by Moses. Josiah asked several men including the high priest to ask the Lord about the content of the scroll. All the important men seeking answers from God asked Huldah, a woman. Huldah was married, but they went to her instead of her husband. Huldah was the prophetess, and her husband was the keeper of the royal wardrobe. The very first prophetess that was named in
Smith 17
Hebrew scripture was Miriam (Exodus 15:20). It doesn’t mean she was just the first woman prophetess, but she was the first Prophet period. Exodus of the Israelites would have not been led
by Moses if it wasn’t for his sister, Prophetess Miriam. She kept watch over his basket in the river to make sure that her baby brother was cared for. 1

Timothy 2:13 for Adam was formed first, then Eve. Acts 2:4, and they were filled with eh Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance. Many people use 1 Timothy 2:12, I do not permit a woman to teach or to exercise authority over a man; rather, she is to remain quiet. So, therefore, many believe or think that women should not be pastors. Well, if a woman cannot teach men, then that means they cannot be doctors, professors, or high school teachers. This verse does not tell us that it is restricted to the church. “They are saying a woman can not have authority over a man.” We should ask the question so that a woman cannot be elected to political office, be a manager in a store that has male employees or be a principal of a school that has male teachers. If a woman shall be quiet then she shouldn’t be in the news media as a news reporter or entertainer, or in any type of role in mass media. All this came about after Paul was concerned about what was being taught by Ephesus. He let the believers know it was important for them to pray for everyone, especially the civil authorities (2:1-2). Then instructions were taught by Paul, on how the men should pray. I desire then that in every place the men should pray, lifting Holy Hands without anger or quarreling (1 Timothy 2:8). Paul was letting them know that every believer should travel throughout the city, to every open area and building to pray. Paul’s teachings are clear about not allowing women to teach in the first-century church in Ephesus but that does not mean we should have the same policy today. This was to a set of women that were acting unseemly, rude, embarrassing their husbands in public, and did not
have any kind of discipline. This does not apply to every church or city. Apostle Paul was dealing
with chaos somewhat in the Corinthians service. People were interrupting each other; more than one person was trying to talk at one time. Apostle Paul has a reason to silence the women in Ephesus. We must understand how God used women in the past, that is one way of how we see God has not required women to be silent, even in a religious setting as well. He has sometimes allowed and appointed women to have authority over men. A prime example of that is Deborah, “She was a prophetess. “There was a palm of Deborah between Ramah and Bethel in the hill country of Ephraim, where she used to sit under and the people of Israel there to her for judgment (Judges 4:4-5). The political authority that she had the people respected and trusted her
decisions. She had religious authority when she gave them the Israelite general message which was authoritative from God. Her victory song is in Chapter 5. Judges 5:7 is the evidence that the song was written by Deborah. If there was anything improper or irregular about a woman being used to teach men, God could up a man to do his work and never a woman. Instead, he was willing for a woman to serve in this way, He was well pleased for this woman’s word to be in scripture, and for this particular example to be there for our instructions. Therefore, we see that God does not have a permanent policy for women speaking words to authoritative men.
Smith 18
In the New Testament just as well as in the Old Testament God used women. This tells us
that God does not require all women to be silent. It does not mean that Paul was wrong for having his policy for the first-century Ephesus but it’s not for all. Apostle Paul did what had to be
done during that time in Ephesus. When Jesus was raised from the dead he first appears to women (Matthew 28:10). They weren’t transferring information they were carrying out a command from Jesus, given to his “brothers”. Jesus gave these women authority to relate these instructions to the men. Women played a very important part in Paul’s missionary work, Paul mentioned two women named Tryphaena and Tryphosa, and they are “workers in the Lord” (Romans 12:12). The letter that Paul wrote to the Philippi, says that other women, Euodia and Syntyche “labored side by side with him in the gospel together with Clement and the rest of my fellow workers” (Philippians 4:3). In both passages Paul mentions women were working in the gospel, these women were teaching. Women are capable of teaching Christian doctrine on point and effective. Paul did give instructions to the church in Corinth for how men and women should
conduct themselves and dress when they prayed and prophesied (1
st
Corinthians 11:4-10). Paul did not say this was explicitly in the church. 1
st
Corinthians 14:33-35, For it, is shameful for a woman to speak in church. Paul his instructions were good for only married women because the widows didn’t have anyone to go to nor did the single women, also the women who have unbelieving husbands. If God gives women the ability to speak and lead, so then those may be used in the church and the most spiritually gifted in the church is a woman, then therefore she may be a Pastor, and speak and teach with the authority that God has given to her. Women have done great works in the Old Testament and New Testament. In the Old Testament Deborah, the Prophetess. People went to her for words from God; as she leads and directs and guides them, and no one imposes on her gender. Judges 5, She leads the people in song after leading them to victory in battle. Judges 5:7, without Deborah’s leadership the people would not fight for themselves. “Woman of Lappidoth means Deborah is a fiery woman.”
The King of Judah was not afraid to listen to a woman, we should not be either. There shouldn’t be discrimination against women preachers because, on the day of Pentecost, he fell upon all flesh. In Romans 16:7 the following women often get overlooked even though there aren’t long stories about them, their leadership made an impact and is recorded. A “Prophet” or “Prophetess” should go into the world and tell the truth about delivering God’s message to the world according to the biblical sense, in other words, “A preacher.” A more intense saying is a preacher who can pack a punch. Women preachers have come a long way. For decades women preachers have been overlooked, cast down, and not allowed to conduct many rituals. Still with the discrimination still going on, many have come to accept women preachers. For years women were not allowed to preach, preach from the pulpit, sit in the pulpit, or be a pastor. Today, we see more women in leadership as Pastors. We can see more women preach conducting wedding ceremonies, funerals,
and other rituals.

It is important to study the word of God as Apostle Paul did not discriminate against women in the scripture. He rather encouraged women such as Tryphaena and Tryphosa, as “workers in the Lord” (Romans 12:12) and Junia Romans 16:17 saying “who also were in Christ before me”. He encouraged their ministries because they were truly called by God and disciplined by God. They were not a part of Ephesus’s chaotic crew. Violence
Violence is the use of physical force to injure, abuse, damage, or destroy. It is very important to recognize and acknowledge domestic violence. It can be life-threatening. Domestic violence is a pattern of abusive behavior in any relationship that is used by one partner to gain or maintain power and control over another intimate partner. Domestic violence is dangerous and is rapid throughout the land. It does not matter who you are it can happen to anyone. It doesn’t just happen to women, and it doesn’t just affect the person but also family members. It also affects your coworkers, friends, and witnesses that are around you. The community at large seeing this kind of stuff is affected. Domestic violence affects people of all backgrounds. This can cause one to take their life (suicide). There are several types of violence: Interpersonal violence can lead to stress which affect the nervous and immune systems: The risk increased a wide range of immediate and lifelong behavioral, physical, and mental health problems this means also including being a victim. This can also end up in other violence. Violence is preventable, it is not an inherent part of the human condition. Intimate violence refers to behavior within a relationship that is intimate which causes
physical, sexual, or psychological harm including physical aggravation, sexual coercion, abuse in
the mind, and controlling behavior.
There are all kinds of violence against children, be they caregivers, peers, or strangers, Kids that are under the age of 18. It affects up to 1 in 2 children every year. Children become very devastated, it has an impact on the child’s development and leads to serious life -long health
and social problems. Much of this is preventable through strategies that address its causes and risk factors. Children who get abused under 18 are called maltreatment. Ages 10-29 refers to youth violence. There are four types of violence physical, sexual, psychological, and neglect. Violence has resulted in the deaths of more than 1.6 million people every year, which made this one of the leading causes of death worldwide. No country isn’t free from being touched by violence, most of its death end up in low to middle-income countries, many of them which were stricken with internal conflicts. Be mindful that violent deaths cannot be attributed to war, more than 80% of this death happens outside of armed conflicts. The year 2015 alone had a total impact of violence
on the economy of the world, estimated at $13.6 trillion, a figure that is equivalent to 13.3% of world GDP. Basically, in the urban area violence has gone higher interpersonal and tied in with criminal activity. The study presents that homicide, intentional homicide was causing the death of almost half a million people across the world in 2012 according to the UN’S Global Study. It is very important to notice and understand that deaths only constitute a part of the health and
Smith 20
social burden that can be attributed to violence, which becomes a part of non-fatal, sexual, and psychological abuse. In addition to that violence cause a heavy burden on the justice system, social welfare services, and the economy of communities where there is violence in your country,
the effects of it is very harmful to the well-being of the community as well as the citizen, and the country as a whole. In several countries, violence has a great impact and significantly and directly became smaller economic growth and poses an obstacle in reducing poverty violence also causes profound psychological and physical trauma, reducing the quality of life for all the society. Violence is also seen and responded to as an evitable part of the human condition, such as
shifting, focus broadening, and an increased effect in being placed on the prevention of violent behavior and consequences. Our understanding needs to be increased to be able to push the prevention efforts to be successful in this complex phenomenon. Violence is such a big complex phenomenon; the definition isn’t clear for it. Women have a lot of violence against them-especially with intimate partners. Violence and sexual violence are major public health problems and a violation of women’s human rights. Most of this type of violence is intimate partner violence. Almost all over the world one-third (27%) of women between 15-49 years old in a relationship have reported that they have been involved in some type of physical and sexual violence by their lover or partner. It can affect women’s reproductive health etc. and may cause a risk of having HIV in some ways. Women that are involved with violence are preventable. According to the United Nations violence against women is any type of gender-based violence. The violence likely going to end up in physical, sexual, or mental harm or even suffering to women, this includes threats of several types. The look down during the time of the Covid-19 pandemic, the social and economic
impacts increased the exposure of women to abusive partners and to have known that the risks factors, in the meanwhile it did limit their access to services. Violence is a crime, and it is not right to abuse anyone. Rather it is directly or indirectly, anybody can be affected by crime and violence by experiencing it. In one’s community, there are serious short and long-term health effects from exposure to crime and violence in their community. Evidence has shown that older adults who experience elder abuse have the risk of increased stress and depression or even becoming fearful alone with anxiety more than those who do not experience elder abuse. Universal school-based programs focus on skill-building related to emotional self-
awareness and control, social problem-solving, and to reduce by teamwork or preventing violent behavior among school-aged children. Besides schools, other places have violence intervention programs that involve screening and intensive case management showing that it is successful and
cost-effective in reducing violent injury recidivism. The result in deaths which is an estimation of
1.28 million people in the year 2023 up from 1.12 million in 1990. The population grew by about
1.9 billion during those years, which showed a dramatic reduction in violence per capita. An
Smith 21
estimation of 842, 000 of these deaths were self-harm (suicide), 405,00 were interpersonal violence, and 31,000 was collective violence (war) and legal intervention. Each death was due to violence. There were dozens of hospitalizations, emergency department visits, hundreds of them,
and doctors’ appointments thousands of them. There often have been lifelong consequences for physical, mental health, and social functioning which can show economic, and social development. Police responded to a domestic violence call but visited the wrong address. This ended in the fatal shooting of the resident inside. Robert Botson, 52 years old was identified as the victim that was shot by a Farmington police officer (by Lawrence Richard|Fox News). Psalm 11, Proverbs 34:10, In the Bible all violence is considered an offense against God and humanity. Violence against women is condemned. According to Jewish law, rape was viewed
as equivalent to murder (Deuteronomy 22:26), which was pressuring a woman physically (Deuteronomy 22:25-27) or psychologically (Deuteronomy 22:28-29) into sex. There are plenty of stories of terrible sexual abuse of women. In the Old Testament rape is considered as “outrage” (Nebalah). This term occurred 13 times in the Old Testament. It was reserved for extreme acts of violation against God and human beings. This was about the rape of Dinah, Tamar, and the woman of Bethlehem (Bible Gateway, https://www.biblegateway.com>blog). Violence seems to have allowed many men and women to become mean and bitter because of what they have seen down through the years such as fathers abusing their mothers or their mothers abusing their fathers. A resolution to this is to stop arguing and fighting in front of their children. This way they won’t become traumatized and fearful. The proper thing is to show love by caring for one another. They need “Jesus” in their lives. “So, they can love properly.” Hebrew 13:1, Let brotherly love continue. Many have lost their life behind the gun due to police violence. Many police have abused
their authority and taken innocent lives. Not all cops are bad but in retaliation, many cops lost their lives. Gun violence has run rapidly and deserves to be addressed strictly. Policy gun violence, community gun violence, and gun violence in general. Many spouses have lost their lives to gun violence in the home. This gun violence entered the schoolhouse. There has been a plethora of shootings in the school. The church has even experienced so many violent activities. As of January 23
rd,
there have been seventy-one Christian churches in Canada that have been violently vandalized or burned down. Violence is not only attacking the church but there are some inside the church that exercise abuse verbally, and physically. Some experience violent sermons weekly attacking the congregation and some experience physical abuse. In various countries, Pastors would abuse the members in front of the congregation. In some countries, the male Pastor sexually abuses the female members.

In some homes, the children experience child abuse. Child abuse is not discipline but abusing children because the parents had a bad relationship. Some stepparents abuse stepchildren
because the children are not theirs and then some biological parents abuse the children because some mothers would say “You act just like your father” or “You look just like your daddy.” Some children experience being mentally and physically abused in a home daily and this results in suicide or pushing some onto the streets. Not every child can endure and overcome. Violence has become a major issue to break up and destroy families. There have been some fathers that have raped their daughters. Sexual Overload in the Media
A prevalent attribute of most forms of public entertainment is mediated sex. Sex in the media draws attention. Female singers were on the front page in the American Billboard the story
in its January 24

issue suggesting was a taste. Media has become a platform for them to show off their bodies for money and publicity. Many of music’s reigning divas are partying like it’s 1999. This has become a darker and more uncertain and anxious place since September 11, 2002. Sexing it up along with the economy is in a funk as record sales down for three years. No doubt they were encouraged by edgy industry executives. The public just doesn’t seem to be in the mood for the recent mediocre album sales by Spears, Pink, and similar artists may have reflected a classic case of mismarketing it is a problem. Psych Terry Pettijohn, “Social and economic times are more threatening and pessimistic, prefer others with more mature facial, body, and personal characteristics. Cross Rhythms has a great impression on youth and the wider community for good through FM radio, training, contemporary Christian music, and a globally influential website (Cross Rhythm, https://www.crossrhythms.co.vk’s…)A study investigated implicit and explicit memory effects of sexual and non-sexual advertisements embedded in either a sexual or non-
sexual program among women viewers. It was predicted that sexual appeals. Arousal Theory (Lulld Bushman, 2025) Says cognitive overload counseled by sexual content should lead to poorer recall of all details that do not contain sexual content. Due to individuals having an evolutionary predisposition to attend to evolutionarily important cues-
including violence and sex. There may be a sex difference regarding males being high sex sensitives than females. There is a study using a recognition memory paradigm, sexual appeals, compared to non-sexual ads, going up higher visual recognition of the advertisement but did not impact brand memory (Lachance et al., 1977). Some of the other advertising studies have relied on a free recall paradigm rather than recognition memory. Even though Parker and Furnham (2007), There was no effect found of the type of advertisement (sexual vs. non-sexual) on the free recall of advertisement content or brand, Furnham and Mainaud (2011) found sexual advertisements were better recalled than non-sexual advertisements and it was true when they were embedded in programs with either sexual or non-sexual content. The nature of the ads

could be a possible explanation for the different findings are the nature of the ads and that other factors, like humor, are not controlled (leading others to try to do so in this study). Overall, this topic suggested that sexual advertisements lead to the superior recall of the advertisement. There has been evidence that offered sexual appeals that increase memory for both advertisements and brands (e.g., Ferguson et al.,2010). Sexual appeals have improved memory for the advertisement scene but did not impact brand memory (Wirtz et al. 2018). During this study, the question used implicit and explicit memory measures and novel stimulus materials they revisit it. Sexual appeals and advertisement memory Sexual appeals raise a viewer’s knowledge of a recall of an advertisement, it may cause the turn, to rise in target brand, and purchase intentions (Gunters, 2000; Hall 2002). May Authors offered theories regarding the role of ad memory in buying intentions. Lang
(2002) proposed the limited capacity model that argues when a person makes up their mind to pay attention to an interesting stimulus (i.e., television advertisement), they must allocate cognitive resources to information processing. This information is stored and if it is useful, it will
move to short-term memory and then long-term memory. Certain cognitive resources are a must for a particular task. The task may not always be successfully completed because of inevitably limited by certain factors. It has been extended to t limited capacity model of Motivated Mediated Message processing (Fisher et al.2018) This probably explains why the motivation to attend to taboo, which may result in captivating. Sexual messages are so forceful. Sexual advertising may demand more cognitive resources than non-sexual advertising; raised-up cognitive resources devoted to the ad’s sexual content may then create greater memory storage capacity. Much research supported the limited capacity model by showing that sexual appeals increase memory for the advertisement scene (Du Plessis, 2005). Other theories that matter include perceptual fluency theory, which suggests prior exposure to the advertisement and
their brands which leads to facilitated recognition and more favorable attitudes (Winkielman 7 Cacioppo, 2001). There was an evolutionary perspective on cognitive capacity evident in the evolutionary emotion would facilitate implicit memory for the brand and explored whether program type (Sexual or Non-sexual) and it also associated concavity would impact or moderate recall of the surrounding advertisement among a small sample (n=52) of exclusive women advertisement viewers. Sexual (versus non-sexual) advertising led to important worse implicit memory for the brand logo but better explicit recall for the advertisement scene. No effect of sexual appeals on explicit brand name recalls and no important effect on advertisement recall on the program type was recorded. The keywords: here are sexual appeals, advertisement, implicit memory, explicit memory, and brand. Sexual appeals are defined by some as persuasion attempts that use words, images, and/or
actions by models to invoke sexual thoughts, feelings, and arousal in a target audience. Many factors were considered as explanations for the presumed efficacy of sexual appeals. Among those sexual appeals show positive feelings in the view which in turn have positive brand

attitudes and increased sales (Endres & Hug, 2004). This encouraged favorable consumer attitudes (Reicher et al., 2022) There were strong emotional responses. Research finding it has been supported that sexual advertisements induce psychophysiological reactions, including a rise in galvanic skin response (Belch et al., 1982). In the meanwhile, the experimental evidence according to explicit memory studies of television advertisements on whether “Sex sells” will be contradictory: Sex has overloaded the media due to the spirit of perversion. Perversion has gone rapidly across the land. Child pornography is a source that has been banned and has overloaded the internet before. Sex overload on the internet is to gather the attention of others, and gain money and this will cause many to lose their soul Mark 8:36, For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Many souls are lost due to the love of money as pornography pays and the internet pays to see your body 1 Timothy 6:10, For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs. Sex overload in the media has become so crazy over the years now with perverted men and women across the internet. Sex overload has even taken over a lot of television. Media displayed on television now is often very seductive. TV shows and movies now have an overload of movies full of sex and seductive content. This has even caused many youths to experiment, and the media must be monitored. Sexual advertisements far as magazines, TV, and the internet are ways to capture the mind of those sexually hungry or weak. Research from Klein (2022) shows that many millennial marriages are affected by pornography and media sex overload. There is a growing concern about young people’s exposure to sexual content through television and other electronic media and its potential effects on their sexual attitudes, beliefs, and behaviors. Researchers have documented the growing prevalence of sexual talk and portrayals of sexual behavior in televised media, as well as associations between adolescents viewing patterns and their sexual activities. The current scientific literature on adolescents of MEDLINE- and the psychological and media literature. The emphasis was on rigorous research and included accessing the expertise of healthcare professionals and other knowledgeable sources on the media. These sources included the Kaiser Family Foundation, Menlo Park, California; The Center for Media Education (Washington, DC); and professional societies and organizations from medicine, psychiatry, and psychology. The available research does not adequately address the effects of exposure to sexual content in the media on adolescent beliefs, knowledge, intentions, and behaviors. Similarly, research on sexual content on the internet, in video games or other handheld devices, or the multitude of other electronic media has been scant. Although sexual content in the media can affect any age group, adolescents may be particularly vulnerable. Adolescents exposed to sexual content in the media during a developmental period when gender roles, sexual attitudes, and

sexual behaviors are being shaped are vulnerable. This group is at risk because the cognitive analysis of messages from the media and making decisions based on possible future outcomes are not fully developed. Analyses of broadcast media content indicate that on average, teenage viewers see 143 incidents of sexual behavior on network television at prime time each week, with portrayals of three to four times as many sexual activities occurring between unmarried partners as between spouses. As much as 80% of all movies shown on networks or cable television stations have sexual content. Public or Christian Schools
This is not a small task when looking for or choosing a school for your pre-teen. A Christian family would rather have a Christian school but must know if it is the right choice because of finance and if it’s a better education system, doing this takes several months of research. One of the first things to know is how the school is rated for quality, what is the average cost for a Christian school near you, and what kind of results are you going to get from a
private school. What do they have to offer that the public schools don’t? Parents want to know if they are making the right decision for their children and making sure they are getting a proper education, one that will help them reach their goals in life. Parents are in the process of weighing
all their options in making these important decisions. Christian schools do not receive any support from the government. There are plenty of differences between public and Christian schools. Christian schools have the freedom to innovate
God and Christianity into their lessons. The other differences include curriculum, class sizes, and
cost. Teachers can teach about God in Christian schools during their lessons. Teachers are not allowed to teach bout God using their own religious beliefs but only Christianity. Christian Schools are encouraged to teach about God in the classroom. Christian schools have a choice to choose what curriculum they teach. Christian schools do not receive tax money. The Christian schools are small in the classroom. They can provide more personalized education than public schools. They get to know their students on a deeper personal level. This helps them to give the students what they need in the areas they need help in overall. Also, the students get to know each other better and create a stronger connection. They can and can do this
in Christian schools and exercise Christianity. Public schools do not require any payments and there are only small fees for extracurriculars. This is why public schools do not need you to pay money because they get support from the government and Christian schools do not. Public schools do not allow teachers to teach anything about their religious beliefs. Public school teachers will get into trouble for teaching about God. Public schools must use a curriculum mandated by the Department of Education. Every public school must cover certain lesson objectives and topics. There is very little freedom that teachers must develop from those topics or how to teach them. Public schools receive tax money.

Public schools will not allow you to establish a bond with many. An estimation of 49.8 million students attends public school. There are approximately 5.1 million students that attend Christian schools. The average cost of public school is $0, and the average cost of Christian schools is $7,925 for elementary and middle school and $9,065 for high school. In public schools, you must currently attend a minimum of 185 days or 1,025 hours of instruction which are set by the State for public schools. Nine months of the year the public school must operate, by state with strongly advised terms of 180 days of at least 505 hours or 990 instructional hours.
Christian schools may have a religious affiliation. The best-rated Christian school in South Carolina is Christ Church Episcopal School. This school is in Greenville, South Carolina. This school has 1,201 students in grades k-12 with a student-teacher ratio of 10 to 1. 23,125 is the tuition for the highest grade offered. After students graduate from this school, they go on to a 4-year college. There is another Christian school named Heathwood Hall, a wonderful school in Columbia, South Carolina. It was founded in 1951. The school is more for education over 70 years and its mission is to educate the whole child through a curriculum reinforced. The school recognizes what each child needs individually. The community supports Heathwood Hall School well. (2 Timothy 3:16, Proverbs 22:6, 1 Timothy 6:20, Ephesians 6:4, 1 Corinthians 15:33). Some of the best Christian high schools in Charleston County are Porter-Guard School with students of 1,059, the overall grade student-teacher ratio is 10:1. The second is coastal Christian preparatory school, Mount Pleasant, South Carolina with 150 students, and a student-teacher ratio 5:1. Society talks badly about public schools saying such as they’re Godless, Pastor Clark Frailey disagrees. He did not like that Oklahoma received less education funding than almost any
other state, so he began to help by providing materials such as wipes, paper, and markers. After a
while, he realized that the problem was much bigger than empty supply closets. There was black mold in the hazardous school building. Teachers were using old textbooks. The kindergarten classes were so jam-packed with up to 30 students.
2016, Frailey and fellow Baptist Pastors got together and assembled for the “Pastors for Oklahoma kids,” and stood in the gap for the students and schools across their state. “There was a lot of demonization at the time,” was told to Christianity today by him. He said that according to some, they classified them as socialists and atheists. His response was that was not their experience as local church pastors. The principals, teachers, superintendents leading locally, and school staff attended their churches and volunteered in Sunday school and the nursery. They were well-known among them. Frailey says the discussion from fellow Christians, alleging, radical ideology in the school system, “It felt like a false narrative. The movement was strong to discredit public education in Oklahoma. This movement targeted much public education across the country. Since schools transitioned to online education around the time of the first months and years of the pandemic, homeschooling and private schooling have jumped at unprecedented

rates. Despite the headlines, many Christian educators told CT they didn’t see any reason for the cause of outrage in their school systems and felt convicted to remain in the classroom.
Even with the negative vibe in public schools some Christian groups such as Christian Educators continue to offer support with prayer, resources, and even legal advice for the ones worried about their jobs. In our schools, the professional association pushes to” reach the next generation of ambassadors for Christ.” Micah Walls said, “Our light is supposed to shine in the darkest places,” She is an elementary school teacher in Lapel, Indiana. She said, “If they don’t have any Christians in the public school system trying to love those kids, then who’s going to do it?” In one study areligious researcher Tyler VanderWeele in his findings showed little difference in ultimate faith outcomes between children who went to private, religious schools and those who attended public
schools, and those who attended public schools. There were About 51% of homeschoolers more likely to attend more than religious services in adulthood. A Colorado mother Hadley Heath Manning her experience with public schools is fragile. Hadley Heath Manning said as a Christian she felt pressured to remove her kids from public school, but she also believes that Christians should be a part of the discussion of public school policies and curriculum. She said there are some things she does not want her kids to be exposed to bas messages such as gender and sex. She does not want her kids to be exposed to families from many different backgrounds. Manning and her children pray together, which is a major factor. A leader with moms in prayer by the name of Stacey Callender leads this group. This group is a Christian group that prays for schools, seen an uptick since the pandemic. Children in schools today have a great battle which is more intense, Callender said, there’s less need to “convince women that our schools need prayer.” “The safest for us and our children is the will of God, and that can be public schools,” said Callender who said she has seen
school administrators welcome in parachurch organizations to help manage the recent onslaught of emotional health struggles. Teachers in Prayer is another organization grounded in praying for schools; it helps teachers to navigate questions about religious liberty in public education. Maggie Mobley, which is a church leader at Sherwood Oaks Christian Church in Bloomington, Indiana, sees a missional advantage of sending children to public schools over Christian ones. Mobley said, “that they want to be in the middle of the mess”, she also, “said they can minister to
others if they put themselves in a position to share Jesus with people that don’t know him”. Bible
teacher and CT columnist Jen Wilkin sent her kids to public school but wrote that “They did not try to strategically position our kids as miniature missionaries.” Public Schools are a great choice for families of low income. This doesn’t mean that everyone that attends public school is low-income because it is also a great choice in general for

families to save money. Public Schools may have plenty of downfalls but if the parent teach their
children at home, it can help because some Christian Schools also have downfalls. You should always research the school, teachers, and what they have to offer to your child and your family. Public schools may have more exposure than Christian schools, but Christian Schools still have some downfalls.

What happened to the integrity of leadership in the pulpit ministry?
The lack of integrity and truth has left many of the pulpit ministries. The vision, team, and culture have left the ministry. For the pulpit ministry to grow we must bring Christian leadership back into the pulpit. It is a lack of love, modesty, and self-development (Luke 22:41-
44). Motivation, correction, Integrity, Follow of God’s will, developing Christian Leadership. (Proverbs 16:1,3,9, 1 Thessalonians 5:13,14). 2
nd
Timothy 2:23-26, Hebrews 10:24-25, Nehemiah 2:17, 1 John 18:4, Proverbs 16:18-19, John 13:35, 1 John 4:8, Romans 5:5, 1 Corinthians 13, Matthew 20:25-28. People can only be led by you if they can trust you. If people lose trust in you, then you have lost it all. When someone is unable to trust you then it is hard to be received by them. You earn the right to lead people. The only way that you can earn the right to lead is to be trustworthy. You must have biblical strategies for maintaining moral integrity in the ministry. (Titus 2:6 A leader must be blameless. This verse is talking about integrity, this is the very first step of qualification of being a leader. You must have integrity because matters in 2 Corinthians 1:2, Apostle Paul is clearly explaining that he has ministered with a clear conscience. This is how a leader should take this because this calls for interiority to lead so that no one could point fingers at anyone. The way that we have conducted ourselves is what testifies to us with integrity. Never think that you can’t be tempted (1 Corinthian 10:12), Proverbs 16:18. Leaders must keep their eyes on their spiritual walk with God. In other words, keeping a watch on your spiritual temperature Proverbs 4:23, 1 Corinthians 9:27. If a leader is married, keep your marriage in maintenance (Song of Solomon 1:6). When you are in a battle with sin it always begins in the mind. You have lost the battle if you lose it in your mind (James 1:14-15, 2 Timothy 4:5, 1 Peter 1:13, 2 Corinthians 10:5. Leaders should keep their minds guarded. Take every necessary step to guard your character. Randy Alcorn listed some consequences of moral tumble from “Leadership Magazine.” He says, “Whenever I feel particularly vulnerable to sexual
temptation, I find it helpful to review what effects my action could have: grieving the Lord who redeemed me; dragging his sacred name through the mud; one day having to look at Jesus, The righteous judge in the face, and give an account of my actions; following the footsteps of people whose immortality forfeited their ministries and caused me to shudder; losing my wife’s respect and trust; hurting my daughters; destroying my example and credibility with my children; causing shame to my family; losing self-respect; forming memories and flashbacks that could plague future intimacy with my wife, wasting years of ministry training; undermining the faithful
example and hard work of other Christians in our community; and on and on.”
So many leaders are messing up falling in sin daily by committing adultery and lying to the congregation about their lifestyle. Matthew 26:41, Jesus says “Watch and Pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak. 1 Peter 5:8, You must be careful of the attacks. Rick Warren is the Founding Pastor of Saddleback Church in Lake Forrest,
CA., A congregation that now averages 16,000 in attendance each weekend. Rick is also the author of The Purpose Driven Life and The Purpose Driven Church, and founder of Pastor.com,

a global Internet community for those in ministry. “2023 The Christian Broadcast Network, Inc., A non-profit 501(c)(3) Charitable Organization. “Rick Warren talks about how to maintain moral
integrity in the Ministry 1-15-2023.”
Many mistakes are made in the process of becoming a leader. It can be fixed most of the time by just admitting our faults, confessing our sins, and apologizing for our actions, making restitution, and with everything in you that you will make it your best to do better the next time. Leadership mistakes have a big factor on people in very important ways. One of the biggest mistakes is for leaders to compromise God’s word. There are biblical condemnations about leaders who handle authority and abuse followers are potent (for example, Jesus’s rebuke of the Scribes and Pharisees in Matthew 23. Hebrews 11:25 choose rather suffer affliction with the people of God than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season. This tells us that Moses rather suffered with God’s people rather than enjoy sin for a little while. There are only a few people in the world that have the mind mentality as Moses did. He was the second man in line for the most successful nation of the world at that time Egypt. He left all of it to lead a lot of slaves across the desert. Moses gave up power and position, and privilege, this is the thing we wanted to spend our whole lives trying to get. Moses had his priorities right because his vision was right. His eyes were on the future reward. As a leader, always protect your integrity. If you lose it nothing else matters as a leader. Integrity is needed to be trusted and to lead people well. The people are looking for a leader, not a crook. There is an increasing need for integrity in the pulpit ministry and the church in general. This is because “we are facing an integrity crisis, not only in the conduct of the church in question but also in the very character of the church.” When the preacher’s integrity starts to be questioned then the validity of their leadership and preaching is also. Pastors in Nigeria are constantly facing an integrity crisis. The integrity crisis has reached
a frightening level in the Nigerian church community, particularly in the pulpit ministry. Respect for pastors and the pastoral office seems to have drastically decreased. In the olden days, law enforcement agencies would rarely bother to scrutinize any pastors driving on the Nigerian road. Their accorded privilege has been abused by the few ones who fail to show integrity as demanded by their calling. The pulpit ministry is thrown into a state of confusion and distrust whenever pastors are exposed in immortality and diabolism. Secular media often exploit these sinful acts and the man in the street depicts such church leaders as interested only in money, women, and power. This situation puts the church ministry in a serious dilemma and therefore calls for urgent attention to restore it to a position of honor and dignity. When pastors do not show integrity, they are indirectly sending conflicting messages to the followers and the society at large and this may further encourage higher level immortality in society. Many church members have discovered that their pastors have no clear standard of integrity. The responsibility of teaching church members positive moral values and living a life

of integrity is primarily that of the pastor (Titus 2:7-8). The impact of a pastor’s integrity will help add valued teachings to the lives of the followers. Virtually all followers will expect their leaders to be above board when it comes to integrity among leaders. They will expect these leaders to be models in the practice of virtue. In the epistle of Paul to Titus, Paul reiterated the need for Titus and all church leaders by implication, to show integrity as they discharge their spiritual duties. The instruction of Paul to Titus (Titus 2:7-8) on this subject is very important and
its relevance in the context of the prevailing corruption, lawlessness, dishonesty, deceit, and immortality in Nigeria cannot be over-emphasized. D.A. Carson who is the president of the Gospel Coalition, didn’t mince any words when he said about pastors and plagiarism: “Taking over where yours is always and unequivocally wrong, you should resign or be fired immediately. The wickedness along at least three axes: (1) You are stealing,
(2) You are deceiving the people to whom you’re preaching,
(3) Perhaps worst, you are not devoting yourself to the study of the bible to the end that God’s truth captures you, molds you, makes you a man or woman of God, and equips you
to speak for him. Churches must require the elders to repent and make a public apology or face dismissal. If a student copied, pasted, and printed a book report from the internet, the teacher would rightly reject the paper and flunk the student. This is a breach of integral work. It is not okay for pastors to do the very same thing as they stand behind the pulpit. To take someone else to work and pass it off as your own is a sin against God and the people whom you have been tasked to shepherd. In Acts 20:28, Paul urged the elders of the church at Ephesus, “Keep watch over yourselves and all the flock of which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers. Be shepherds of the church of the Lord Jesus Christ which he bought with his own blood.” We must take this matter of plagiarism seriously, God does. Biblical preaching does not only demand accuracy but also authenticity. Sheep need healthy food to grow, not cold leftovers scraped from someone else’s plate, if pastors
have failed in this area, it’s important to “confess your faults” and find forgiveness in the finished
work of God’s son. They recommit their lives and mystery to being a good steward by handling God’s word well. Every church leader should have integrity in the pulpit, and out. Integrity has become a topic with more prominence in research on personality and leadership in both secular and religious organizations. It is a fundamental virtue necessary for an understanding of leadership in both dimensions. In today’s world, the Integrity crisis is perhaps one of the major challenges that the pulpit ministry is facing. This has brought the church under serious tests, especially in present-day Nigerian society. It seems immortality has reached a pan-epidemic level
in the Nigerian church both among the clergy and the laity and consequently, respect for pastors has come to an all-time low level. The book of Titus is one of the Epistles of Paul addressed to Titus, a Greek Gentile converted from Antioch. Titus was one of the most trusted and loved members of the little band of Paul’s friends and followers. Since Paul brought him to the Lord their relationship became more tender and affectionate. In Titus 1:4 Paul refers to Titus as “my true son in our common faith.” Titus carried a great level of integrity.

Opinions/Suggestions
Racism
In my opinion, Racism is still here and it’s never going to go away. It can get better; some
folk’s minds and hearts are so stubborn that they are not going to break. The land needs healing (
https://www.usccb.org
>resources). we need prayer services from racism for the land to be healed (United States Conference of catho…https://www.usccb.org>resources). When there is racial trauma it’s a wound to the soul. Genesis 1:27 says, “So God created man in his own image.” All races should be treated as equals. We live in a racialized society and whites are on top of the racial hierarchy, and blacks are at the bottom. Racial trauma or race-based traumatic stress is created by the cumulative effects of racism on an individual’s mental and physical health…. According to psychiatrist Robert Carter. According to Joel A. Bowman Sr. Black American adults are more likely than White American adults to be impacted by gun violence. Yet, whites are more likely to see common sense gun reform as a threat to their rights. Joel A. Bowman is a Christian thinker, writer, speaker, Louisville Pastor, licensed clinical social worker, family guy, poet, and a proud native of Detroit. Sexism
In my opinion, women that are victims of sexism are going to always be overlooked at large, like they don’t have a say so. This makes them intimated and harassed because society believes women are the weaker vessels. Some women have been attacked on social networks. Some groups of women are targets of sexism because of being women, politicians, journalists, or
public figures (Council of Europe https://www.coe.int>web>combat...) You can prevent some of this by educating the people in the workplace area etc. I suggest that the law imply stricter guidelines concerning sexism, along with churches being more involved to help fight against sexism for both males and females. Where are the men in the Church?
My opinion about where is the man in the church is that a lot of them are in the church, but they are not standing up and doing their duty as men in the gospel. They push the women up to do and when the women get up and do then they begin to get intimated because they feel like women are taking over (Got Questions https://www.gotquestions.org
) (Capterra https://www.capterra.com). Then you have some who have been pushed out of the church by the actions of the churchgoers. Some men have pushed the women and they have been faithful, but they were hurt. The problem is that society expects men not to hurt and that a man should just never express their emotions. Some have been hurt and came to the church and have been pushed
aside and have been stereotyped as homosexuals for expressing and then some younger men have been pushed aside and decided to turn to the street because of the church mindset of them being too young.

Homosexuality/Gender and Sexual Diversity My opinion on this topic is that I have a great love for all of them. They all are human beings just as we all are, but this behavior and act should not be approved by the church and believers that know the word of God. We should always show love and not treat them wrong, but
we should not accept their ways but try to help them change. Find a solution to the problem or at least attempt to. I believe that they should be comfortable just up in the pulpit preaching and bleeding on God’s people but rather at the altar seeking deliverance. I believe that they should not try to force others to accept it or to have to agree with it (MDPI https://www.mdpi.com
)
Women Preachers In my opinion and experience Women preachers have a hard time because men want to limit women in the Gospel and in the world in general. Many think that a woman should be an Apostle, Bishop, or Pastor. I believe that some men are intimated by women because of their pride. Men like to oversee everything so that it doesn’t look like the women are in charge. They just want to see women be silent. Men know that a lot of women are very intelligent human beings and some of them don’t want to acknowledge that openly. Violence
Violence doesn’t have to be where it has grown to be today, taking over the world. If guns
are very strictly monitored and overseen the world would be better with less killing. People use guns and objects for the wrong reasons for the most part. If people learn to control their tempers and stop letting it get out of control when no one can talk to them or calm them down, then they would make wiser decisions. Some younger people are not controllable and there are some older ones too but some of them from a young age have seen their dad beat their mother or family members always fighting. Growing up, seeing this kind of stuff builds up rage. In their mindset, this is the solution now to protect themselves even when they are not really being attacked. When
they feel attacked or feel upset, they just spaz. Sexual Overload in the Media
When anything becomes news, it becomes worldwide causing people to always disagree. The media has some serious power throughout the world. If you advertise yourself out there of course embarrassment will come to you. They need to stop going to the media and publicizing themselves. Bad decisions give bad vibes. Public or Christian Schools
If prayer comes back into the public schools, I believe it can be just as good as Christian Schools. Most parents believe Christian Schools are better environments for their children because they believe there would be less fighting among the children and feel safe with their children being away from them. They believe these teachers take out more time and are able to give the children whatever they need educational-wise. Most parents financially are unable to

have their children attend Christian schools. I believe Christian schools should not charge the parents as much but rather conduct more fundraisers and events to raise money. What has happened to the integrity of leadership in the pulpit ministry?
It’s because too much is going on in the pulpit ministry that is inappropriate as allowing their character because they are not guarding and keeping their character to a good standard. They allow others sometimes to get them out of character. What is shown to others is how they accept you and see you as a person some present themselves as messy. If you’re messy just come
out of it and allow your integrity to kick in. Many carry the spirit of pride and refuse to correct their issues but continue in it until it is exposed. Some no longer carry the fear of God and respect for the people that they pastor. It is sad that some of this is also because leaders have prematurely elevated others to be in positions and titles that they have never shown maturity and discipline for. Romans 12:7-9 tells us to wait for our ministry. This kind of behavior can be resolved through much prayer, fasting, and reading the bible. Corporate prayer can help this issue
as well. We must learn to understand one another and teach one another. We will not agree on everything, but we must operate with integrity and respect and look into every station and understand what is going on.
