Personal Philosophy of Education
Philosophy plays an important role in education. Educators need to understand their perspective and what is best for their student's education. Thus, my present philosophy strategy
will benefit both my students and myself. However, my ideology will evolve with time, as it is solely intended to better my students' learning environments. My perspective will support student development, provide an educational atmosphere, and a defined strategy to engage with families and communities to improve the student's growth and development. My teaching method will help students learn and develop as a whole child by combining two concepts. The two ideologies I will change are Montessori and sociocultural. The Montessori philosophy focuses on student-centered learning. My philosophy will be student-centered, allowing them to grow together while learning from one another, with me assisting them along the way. Using Sociocultural philosophy will assist me in guaranteeing that I include the ZPD (Zone of Proximal Development). This will allow me to better evaluate and assess my students' development, assisting them in their growth. With a consistent framework and the educator fully comprehending theories, philosophy continues to be based.
I plan to incorporate technology into early childhood training. Educators and students are required to learn internet access techniques and strategies for gathering information. I may incorporate lessons that educate students on utilizing online navigation tools. My efforts will help
young learners grasp basic technology abilities (Murcia, Campbell, & Aranda, 2018). Teachers will be expected to retain at least a working acquaintance with these high-tech learning alternatives to continue competitive in the educational employment market. Although challenges
may arise, I want to address them through learning communities, scheduled time for investigation, and professional growth. Integrating technology is vital, as is creativity and the surrounding environment for students.
Providing an inclusive creative learning environment for children will aid their developmental growth. Children will be more likely to participate in activities, chores, and group play due to the degree of creativity in their surroundings. Creativity piques children's interest and helps them
focus for some time. I want to do this by establishing a sociodramatic play center and incorporating the learning topic into our playtime. I will coach them as they play and assess their
social skills and developmental progress (Banerjee, Alsalman, & Alqafari, 2016). Establishing this will inspire families and students to participate in the community.
Collaboration with families and the community is critical in the growth and development of young
children. I will begin by asking my principal if I can arrange a parent or guardian mash-up with the children after school to get many families together with their children. I will also engage in a variety of events, encouraging families and the community to do the same. Guiding children's conduct and establishing a welcoming learning atmosphere for my students will make learning enjoyable and provide peace of mind for both them and their families. Joining
the community and families as an educator will have a significant impact on the children's development by providing a family-like environment for the students. Furthermore, this is relevant to my entire personal philosophy strategy.
In conclusion, my personal philosophies plan will be beneficial for my students and myself. Fostering student development, creation of the educational environment, and a set plan to collaborate with families and communities to better the student’s growth and development. This and allowing change to improve my philosophies will prepare me for a better educational outcome for my students.
