Briefly describe your example and why you believe it is either an appeal to ethos (ethics), pathos (emotion), or logos (logic).
The logic is knowing your audience. The speech is more successful if you tailor it to your audience. Gun control is a hotly debatable topic, but fact show that gun control sometimes doesn’t work. Politiciant like to politicize the issue to further their agenda.

Explain when your chosen type of appeal is appropriate and when it is not;
Logos is appropriate when I want to provide supporting evidence to a part of my speech.
Logos would not be appropriate to do a speech on the fallicy of gun control at a high school that experienced a shooting

Describe the ethical issues involved in using your type of appeal;
Logos can be on-sided sometimes. What you may think as logical might not seem the same to other people. Hence, know your audience.

Give an example of how your chosen type of appeal could be used unethically to sway an audience.
Politicians use the appeal for more gun control to further their agenda. To them the end justifies the means.
