2 Locating Credible Databases and Research According to Saunders et al. (2019), the best available research is utilized to guide clinical practice and healthcare decision-making in the context of evidence-based practice (EBP). It requires using the most up-to-date research information, clinical knowledge, and patient values and preferences to direct practice and care. A scenario considered for this assessment is that of a newly trained nurse assigned to a diabetes patient. The patient is his first clinical assignment. Diabetes is a disorder that impairs the body's ability to metabolize blood glucose, leading to rise in blood sugar levels (Mukhtar et al.,2020). This disease is one of the most prevalent today, and because it comes in so many forms, it can be challenging for less experienced medical professionals to recognize it effectively. Diabetes can be extremely dangerous to a patient's health if it is unregulated and untreated and can even lead to amputation. This paper will highlight the communication and collaboration strategies to encourage new nurses to learn about EBP. It will also go through the best areas to conduct research, the kinds of resources that would offer relevant information, and five reliable sources from which information about evidence-based practices may be obtained. Communication Strategies to Encourage Diagnosis-Based Research The implementation of proper communication tactics is recommended as a means of fostering research about diabetes. Communication tactics that encourage diagnosis-based research, motivation, and rewards can be excellent communication tools in nursing (DE PLANTÃO). Specifically, reward, involvement, and coherence methods are three of the most successful ways to encourage diagnosis-based research among healthcare workers such as nurses. This could be done by providing recognition for research contributions, including acknowledging the work of nurses who engage in research through awards, publications, or other forms of recognition. This could also be accomplished by offering opportunities for professional development, such as educational or training programs, to assist nurses in
3 developing their research abilities and expanding their knowledge base. These tactics entail developing a feeling of community and teamwork inside the facility, providing opportunities for employees to participate in decision-making, providing positive reinforcement and incentives, and including employees in decision-making. A strategy specifically geared to bring researchers and nurses together is to encourage networking and collaboration through events or workshops. This can help guarantee that nurses can access the resources required to support their diagnosis-based research. These meetings and workshops can provide nurses opportunities to network with other researchers, learn about breakthroughs in research, and present their ideas and discoveries from their research. This can be especially helpful for nurses who are either new to the area of research or do not have access to a large network of research colleagues. The Best Places to Complete the Research The hospital, in this case, is equipped with a computer lab that provides nurses with access to computer systems and a dependable internet connection so that they can conduct appropriate research using a variety of journals, books, and articles on the internet. Research can also be conducted within a diabetes healthcare setting to investigate the efficacy of various interventions or treatments for diabetes. Professional organizations, such as the American Diabetes Association or the International Diabetes Federation, which may also endorse research in the field of diabetes and have resources available to support researchers, can also be the best place to research various interventions or treatments for diabetes. However, due to the abundance of content on the internet, the appropriate resources must be sorted using the CRAAP test. This method is designed to separate legitimate research sources from those not based on the standards of Currency, Relevance, Authority, Accuracy, and Purpose ( Muis et al.,2022) .

4 The clinical practice guidelines give evidence-based guidelines for managing diabetes and other chronic health disorders ( de Boer et al., 2020) . These guidelines are just one example of the resources that may be used to find information essential to the diabetes diagnostic process. These guidelines can be invaluable for determining treatment recommendations and best practices. In addition, several research databases are available, such as PubMed and websites run by the American Diabetes Association and the International Diabetes Federation. Identification of Five Sources for Evidence of Clinical Diagnosis The PubMed database of healthcare literature, which the National Institutes of Health maintain, is the first of five reputable sources that can be used to locate evidence for a clinical diagnosis of diabetes. Diabetes is one of the many medical and health-related topics covered in the database, including millions of citations for articles, books, and other resources on various related subjects. The second resource available is ClinicalTrials.gov. This is a database of clinical trials that are being carried out all around the world. It contains information about studies that are now being carried out as well as trials that have been completed relating to diabetes and other health conditions. In addition, there is a website for the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Disorders (NIDDK), a part of the National Institutes of Health that researches diabetes and other diseases that affect the endocrine and digestive systems. Fourth, there is the American Diabetes Association (ADA) website dedicated to bettering the lives of those who have diabetes ( Youssef, 2021) . One may find a multitude of information and resources about diabetes, such as research findings, clinical guidelines, and educational materials for patients, on this website. Lastly, the website of the International Diabetes Federation is another reliable source. The International Diabetes Federation (IDF) is a worldwide organization that works to raise diabetes awareness and educate people on how to prevent the
5 disease. Their website also provides information on diabetes research and the most effective methods for managing the condition. Explanation of Why the Sources Provide the Best Evidence The chosen sources offer the best evidence because they pass the credibility test and have well-organized and scientifically supported material. Additionally, the sources use reliable literature with relevant citations and peer-reviewed articles. These sources can be utilized to gather data for research based on EBP. They also cover pertinent subjects and offer the viewer free information. Conclusion In conclusion, evidence-based practice is one of the best methods to justify what health care professionals do comprehensively. A newly recruited nurse might also benefit from knowing it when they have questions about particular terminology or diagnostics that they might not be familiar with. Computer labs, hospital environments, and academic institutions are just a few reliable locations that can help newly trained nurses to do research. Also, the specific resources are the ClinicalTrials.gov website, the American Diabetes Association (ADA) website, the NIDDK website, the PubMed database, and the websites of the International Diabetes Federation.
