Notably, the method employed has the purpose of determining the physician-patient relationship. The results indicate the emergency of various themes that needs multiple considerations. For instance, one of the themes in the article occurs is the role of family members in promoting the wellbeing of people (Yamada et al., 2003). Reflection Of the Article Introduction Families have different beliefs about illnesses that influence people's ability to select the type of medication considered most effective in society. Additionally, the cultural value of people determines the ability of people to seek medical services. Notable, the culture influences the perception of healthcare services, illnesses, and death. As a result, people hold different beliefs regarding the cause of death and diseases and possible treatment approaches. 3 I believe that the communication approaches in the family setup determine the beliefs and perceptions about illnesses and diseases. The levels of interactions determine the ability of family members to understand insights regarding the disease. The reason is that any family member can face illness and death, and changes in responsibility occur. Additionally, ethical values determine the responsiveness to the illnesses. As a result of different values among different ethical groups, the cause of the disease can be attributed to various factors (Yamada et al., 2003). Again, I support the point that religion plays a crucial role in shaping the ability to attain healing. Notably, God is viewed as the source of healing for different illnesses, and thus, people believe in him. As a way of evading punishment from the Lord, people tend to commit the right acts. The experience with some illness occurs as a private identity that people fail to share. People often feel ashamed to be associated with such diseases, and they suffer in the process. In that regard, I believe sharing one's health problem occurs as a necessary step towards better results. The confrontation of death in one's life imparts a negative experience, especially when family members face death. I believe the disregard and ignorance of people concerning medications influence the ability to gain quality of life. Open-Ended Questions About the Article One of the questions that occur as relevant could be what factors need to be instituted in different ethical groups to influence their perception regarding illness and death?.
