You will be logged in to the EHR Navigator for Northstar Medical Center as Sylvia Yazz, the Nurse. Instructions:
Navigate to patient Marie Becker’s chart and enter an Advance Directive for her December 15, 2030 visit. Enter the advance directive at 5:00 pm on December 15, 2030. Indicate that the patient does not have an advance directive on file. The patient desires full resuscitation for her resuscitative efforts.
Sign and save the advance directive. Then log out.

Click in the Last name text box and then type Becker

Click the View button for Marie Becker.
The patient’s chart displays with the Summary tab active.

Click the Visits tab.
The Visits page displays, with the 12/15/2030 visit in the patient’s list of visits.

Click the Chart Note
button.
The Chart Note dialog box displays.

Click the Select Type option box and select Advance Directives
.
Advance Directives displays in the Type drop down box.

Click in the date box and then type 12/15/2030

The button switches to PM.

Click the None check box under The patient has the following advance directives on file.
