Define integrated marking communications (IMC) in your words. Use the text to support your definition. Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) is a brand's messaging consistent across all the media it uses to reach its target audience. Customers experience the brand through many diverse points of contact, ranging from traditional advertising messages to conversations in which everyone from advocates to dissenters have their say (White, 2019). Describe why companies use IMC campaigns. Businesses utilize integrated marketing communications to offer a consistent message, enhance their brand image, generate customer experiences, and focus on outcomes. With an integrated marketing communications strategy, consumers help determine how your business’s message is delivered – producing better results for your company (Brooke, 2022). For each medium channel you picked, briefly describe how it is being used, focusing on what it can do that other media cannot . YouTube: The ads can reach a larger higher targeted audience based on demographics, keywords, audiences and more. Specifically, in this video the targeted audience is young and into gaming and group play. They decided to purchase and enjoy the limited item “Nacho Fries” on the go at the arcade. The Arcade – Nacho Fries Are Back (Commercial) | Taco Bell - YouTube
Facebook: The ads focus on targeted audiences based on their behaviors. This ad focuses on the preparation of the Nacho Fries. The image of them being cooked and seasoned along with the option of including in a craveable box. $1 Nacho Fries | Yeah, you can have fries with that. $1 Nacho Fries are here. | By Taco Bell | Facebook Twitter: The ads are advertised to a larger audience that can interact with one another. Giving their opinions and experiences with the products. This specific ad is engaging the audience by asking them to submit ideas for the next trailer for the limited item “Nacho Fries.” Taco Bell on Twitter: "Nacho Fries are coming back soon. Ready for the spicy plot twist? https://t.co/ES7tucmYTZ" / Twitter
Summarize what unifies the campaign and whether you think it is effective and why. The campaign is brought together by the constant usage of the marketing message, images, and design across all media channels. The campaign takes advantage of the capabilities of many media outlets to reach a larger audience and build a consistent brand image. The ad is successful because it promotes a sense of excitement and expectation in the audience and strengthens Taco Bell's reputation as a fun and creative company. Use Table 6.2 POE’s model of message channels from the course text, and from each quadrant, identify at least one channel that would benefit your internship brand if adopted or used more effectively. Explain your reason. Brand controlled: Taco Bell might profit from influencer marketing to reach a larger audience and advertise their products. Influencer marketing is a good technique to attract younger audiences who are more likely to interact with social media material. Taco Bell might enhance brand recognition and loyalty by teaming with prominent influencers to build a more customized and real relationship with their target audience. References: White, S. (2019).
