Case Study 3 Answer 1: Ronald should include below points in this report: Caleb has a hand-shaped bruise on his lower back. Caleb has just above the bruise is a small blister that looks like a burn. Ronald heard Caleb mother talking with other parents about her going out at pub as she is bored with him. Caleb mother also said that she scold Caleb when he forget to turn off the light before coming here. Answer 2:
Ronald did not report everything in the report. He could include how he discovered Caleb's bruise, and can provide a back-story. He could also contain how he realized that Caleb's mother was talking to another parents about going to a bar because she was bored with Caleb at home. Ronald believes that his mother should not have children is his own point of view, and he should not mention it in the report. Ronald is not sure. He has no evidence that Caleb's mother had burns on his back because she smoked. He was unable to make statements and conclusions before investigating and proving that Caleb's mother was the person who harmed him. Ronald may suspect that these may be the reasons, but the statement made by Ronald is judgmental. Ronald can confirm his legal obligation in his contract where it is mentioned about his role and responsibility where he serviced. . It can in addition refer to the organization’s policies and procedures for mandatory reporting, duty of care, and ethics. Answer 1: In this case study ethical dilemma can be explain as a conflict between the moral responsibilities of other caregivers’ where they give more preference and attention to their grandchildren who are in the same room with other and act harshness to other children. She also treated other children differently and did not give them the same respect and service. In this case, my dilemma is not being sure whether to report the behavior of her because the profession/employee changed their behavior in front of the supervisor. The principle of ethical behavior should not discriminate and give priority to any child based on personal relationships or any other factors. Give all children the same attention and rights. Answer 2: Professional boundaries mean judgment a balance between over-participation and under- participation. In this case, another profession only provides services and a safe environment and behavior for her grandchild, while ignoring other children in the same room, thereby breaking her professional boundaries. Professional and personal boundaries need to exist in the workplace. It is violating their rights if she doesn’t treat other children equally due to preference. Answer 3:
