4 educators read Jennifer Rogers' Leading for Change Through Whole-School Social-Emotional Learning . When questioned about which section of the session he would recommend giving to a selected number of developing educators, the principal said that right now, the 6A Rubric for Academic Culture would be the most helpful. He proposed grading all campus-wide systems, instructor skills, and classroom systems by instructors using the criteria. Next, the decision- making team may choose the next phase by contrasting their rubrics with the instructors. The principal said he would be prepared to buy every educator a copy of Leverage Leadership 2.0: A Practical Guide to Creating Exceptional Schools . Integrating the designated topic's resources into South Panola High School's professional development plan was the most significant topic of debate. The principal recommended that, before Christmas Break, a "See It" tour be made for those who perform well in school to document the words and deeds of educators, administrators, and students. The district calendar includes days set aside for professional growth. The PowerPoint and  Leading Student Culture: A Guided Session Plan could be included in the training days in January. It is recommended that the 6A Rubric for Academic Culture be reviewed on February 14. A strategy for action ought to be drafted in March at the professional growth workshops. Professional growth should concentrate on rehearsing and practicing in April and May. A distribution plan should be developed in July.
