GUIDELINES AND RUBRIC MGMT 3276 - Organizational Behaviour Research-Based Case Analysis: Project Plan G UIDELINES The Project Plan should contain the following:  Completed team contract/charter [see Team Project folder on D2L]  Completed Plagiarism Statement (see Team Project folder on D2L)  A definition of your assigned topic and a description of how this topic applies to the situation you read about in the case. Include some specific details from the case to back up your claims.  A plan for how you would gain additional information to help you resolve the issues. Provide a rationale for who you would interview, what specific questions you would ask, and any additional data you would collect (e.g., employee surveys, customer surveys, financial metrics, etc.)  The Project Plan should be 3-5 pages in length. Written in proper APA format (title page, external sources cited/References page/etc.).  The Team Contract and Plagiarism Statement should be placed in Appendices.  The title page, Appendices and References page do not count toward the Project Plan page limit. Described why it is relevant to the situation from this case by citing specific details. Data collection plan 10/ 10 Excellent: Outlined the main issues that need to be resolved and provided a detailed plan for data collection. Provided a persuasive rationale that identified how each step in the data collection plan has the potential to lead to information that can be used to resolve the main issues. Data collection detail 10/ 10 Excellent: Proposed interview questions are unambiguous, clearly articulated, and have a clear connection to course content. Questions require no revisions. Where relevant, follow-up questions and probes are included. Where relevant, additional data collection plans (e.g., surveys, other metrics) are clearly presented. Team contract 4/ 4 Provide a completed team contract. Excellent: Contract demonstrates that the team put careful thought and consideration into the factors that are conducive to effective groupwork. Plagiarism Statement 2/ 2 Provide a completed Plagiarism Statement. APA formatting 4/ 6 title page; level headings; pagination; line spacing; document spacing; in-text citations; References page; Appendix page APA formatting: proper title page, level headings; margins, font, font size, pagination, line spacing, document spacing, etc. All external sources used (including the case) were cited with proper APA formatting (i.e., in-text citations and a References page). The Reference page was presented before the Appendices. Appendices were formatted with proper heading/label. -your title page contained APA formatting errors -level headings? Additionally, this is an APA research paper, please use appropriate/assignment specific headings. -some of your document spacing does not adhere to proper APA formatting. -good job with your in-te xt citatio ns – although the case is not properly cited. -good job with your References page. -good job with your Appendices. -as I mentioned in class, there should be no mention of “the case/case study” in any of the team assignments […The paper should take the perspective that you are a business consulting firm hired by the company; and you are writing a report that can be used by the company…].
