2-2 Memo Significance of Stakeholder Analysis Kristen Kemenczky Southern New Hampshire University MBA687: Leading Organizational Change October 1, 2023
To: Vice President From: Kristen Kemenczky HR Consultant Subject: Memo We will get this change done for our U.S. branch of the Singaporean software. We have HR consultants working extremely hard to have a better company for our customers and our employees. Please read this memo and let me know if you have any questions. Stakeholders are very important to a company. As they invest in your company. Stakeholder analysis is a way of gathering information and analyzing it to inform about a change. It organizes and helps you understand what needs to be done, who is affected, why it needs to be done, and who is making the changes. Having these brings the team together to work on a project that will better the company. The best way to encourage change with our stakeholders is to have a meeting with them. Sit down and go over what is going on within the company, give them your ideas, and then let them do the same. They want to be included and they will want to work with you for the change. Their views can help influence the change because it’s being seen in someone else’s eyes. The more people in the plan of change can help the company be even better. Stakeholders can encourage the staff with the change by working with them. Getting out and working with the staff will go a long way and will help our team grow together. There are lots of benefits of having a stakeholder analysis. The top 3 to me are gaining more tools and support, communicating together, and project visibility. I chose these because I could see a lot of good benefits from these and can see it helping the change. Any company can do better with more tools and support. That can be to more computers to more team members.
Everybody can improve their communication. That will help anything become better if you just communicate your thoughts and feelings about it. Having those meetings will allow visibility of the project to show to the stakeholders. It will help show them the change is for the good. I personally think everyone in the company is key people. Everyone is important in their roles and their knowledge that they know. I wouldn’t pick just certain people. I would put my team leaders and managers in charge of the change. As we will meet with them, and they will meet with the staff under them. As that way the message will get across the board. The stakeholders will be interested because they will make more money in the end. It will help grow them so they will be wanting to help the changes. Please let me know if you have any feedback or changes you would like to make.
