RTO No: 31250 | CRICOS Provider Code: 03579K communication between the client or client’s representative with the builder is very important when it’s come to domestic construction because most of the clients are new to this experience and they don’t know the proper way to communicate with the builder and their responsibilities or limitations when work with different contractors. It is important that client and builder understand and clarify that before start of the construction to avoid future problems. This explains client or client’s representative should not contact the subcontractors for any matters. All the communication via the builder but if client has a representative in construction process, the builder can run communication through the representative and that consider as owner’s approval. Contract 2 also explains the process for a claim if that happens. Therefore, both parties have an understanding about this process prior to construction process. The client can get a clear idea about breakdown of the construction cost with the details in appendix.
