IC301 – ENSA – S23 Lab 6 Background / Scenario Although broadband internet access options have increased dramatically in recent years, broadband access varies greatly depending on location. In this lab, you will investigate current broadband distribution and research broadband access options. Step 1: Research broadband options in specific Canadian locations. Search the internet for the Government of Canada’s National Broadband Internet Service Availability Map . This map allows users to research broadband availability across Canada. Use it for #’s 1 – 4 below. Find the information required to complete the table for each community. For ‘Download Speed’, enter the maximum available download speed offered by the service provider in the area. Each table entry is worth 1 point. Each entry must be a direct link, requiring no interaction, to a single page that clearly lists the required information. ISP, connection, cost and speed must be links to pages on the ISP site (use the site home page for the ISP field). It is OK if multiple links go to the same page, as long as the required info is clearly listed. Do not submit your document as a PDF – links may be lost. Do not use DNSLYTICS.COM. Any submissions that do not strictly follow all of the instructions will receive a grade of 0%.
