Anna Garcia’s Forensic Report Daniella Fernandez, Remzo Cruz, Nathalia Chacin, and Maria Cantu 11/10/2022
Abstract Anna Garcia was 20 years old, 5 feet 6 inches tall, with a weight of 135 pounds. At 10:00AM, Taylor Diaz called 911 to reported that he found Anna Garcia’s dead body in the Gentry Life Science Building. When we did blood and DNA test, we identified that it was Anna’s. Her time of death was 7:00AM. She had a rectal temperature of 92.4. Autopsy Report: Recored information about the results of Anna's toxicology screening and the identity of the pill in her stomach contents in the Toxicology Results section of the autopsy report. In the toxicology test, we found positive results of caffeine, quantity within normal limits (10 mg/L), positive result for acetylsalicylic acid (aspirin), (20 mg/L), the presumptive tests also indicate that the partially digested pill in stomach contents is aspirin, the blood alcohol is normal, and no other drugs or toxins were detected. There was an open wound on Anna’s forehead and bruise above Anna’s right eyebrow. The histology test proved that Anna was affected by a previously undiagnosed nervous system disorder. In conclusion, we believe Anna Garcia died of a heart disease and a nervous system disorder. Our recommendation is that this case should be closed but if there is ever any new findings about her death, it should be opened again.
Evidence Analyzed The blood spatter pattern is consistent with blunt trauma to Anna's head from hitting the table. The drops start from the height of the table and were dropped as Anna fell to the ground Anna appeared to have good relationships with Eric, Taylor, and Dr. Opal but a somewhat strained relationship with Dominique and a very negative relationship with Sam. In the polygraph test Dominique Hall seems to have been lying
